Ordered taliwang chic
Wanted to order ayam berempah but it was sold out during my dinner visit.
I ordered the taliwang chicken cutlet instead. I asked if the chicken was not spicy for my child to eat, and the staff said it wasn't. However, it was spicy even without the chili. My child couldn't eat it afterwards.
Preparation was quick, taking only 2 minutes after ordering.

Terrible service staff at Sunshine Place. I ordered the Taliwang because I enjoy the spicy sambal. Two minutes after paying for the order, the staff informed me there was no more Taliwang. She also refused to refund the order. I had no choice but to change my order. I asked if I could have the Taliwang sauce, as that was my initial order. The staff was very rude and unapologetic, stating I would have to pay extra if I wanted the Taliwang sauce. A very unpleasant experience.

Dishonest. The cashier told us that all the ayam rempah, prawn sambal, etc. on the menu were finished, leaving only deep-fried chicken cutlet and luncheon meat. However, after 30 minutes, I noticed other people ordering and receiving those dishes! Next time, please advise if there's a waiting time instead of simply saying they are sold out for the day!
Review on food: The scrambled eggs were way too oily, and the sambal was too sweet! The chicken cutlet tasted like a frozen one bought from FairPrice, especially the processed chicken texture.

I literally had the most worst experience at sunshine place outlet today like 20 mins ago.
The lady
I literally had the worst experience at the Sunshine Place outlet today, about 20 minutes ago. The lady who took my order was super rude! I told her my order, "Hi, Auntie, Ayam Rempah set, takeaway" (this was the shop's bestseller on the menu, by the way). She proceeded to reply in Mandarin, and I don't understand Mandarin. So, I was a bit confused and my initial reply was "Huh?" Three times she repeated in Mandarin, only then did she realize I wasn't Chinese and spoke to me in English, "You see the menu, tell me which number you want to order." Then I told her I wanted your bestseller, number 5, and said it's your best. Instead of being apologetic and moving along with taking my order, she still argued with me, telling me off that "the Malay girl never came today and I don't know Malay." Me: "But Auntie, you can speak English, right? Because you are speaking in English to me now, and not everyone can understand Mandarin, and I am not Chinese." She still repeated herself because of "the Malay girl never came today." Hmmm, that's not a good excuse. 1) The menu was mostly in Malay; the least she could do is take note of the bestseller menu. She is the cashier, and she needs to know the bestseller in whichever language it is, right? 2) It's not my problem which staff member didn't come to work today, tomorrow, or any other day. 3) Don't make customers your punching bag, especially when they are not rude to you in the first place. This whole experience was such a turn-off.
