Admiralty MRT Station (NS10) is an elevated station on the North South Line, positioned along Woodlands Avenue 7 near the junction with Woodlands Avenue 6 and Woodlands Drive 71 in the Woodlands district. First announced as Woodlands East station in February 1991, it was renamed to Admiralty in November of the same year before opening on 10 February 1996 as part of the Woodlands extension. Initially designated as N15, the station received its current code NS10 in August 2001. The station showcases distinctive kampong-styled architecture with a roof design that reflects traditional village aesthetics, complemented by a colour scheme carefully chosen to harmonise with the surrounding neighbourhood. This design philosophy was characteristic of the Woodlands extension stations, creating a cohesive visual identity for the northern corridor whilst paying homage to Singapore heritage. Operating under SMRT Corporation management, Admiralty station serves a primarily residential catchment area with several schools in the vicinity, making it particularly busy during school term periods. The station offers four barrier-free exits (A, B, C, and D) at ground level, ensuring accessibility for all commuters including those with disabilities. Situated between Woodlands and Sembawang stations on the North South Line, Admiralty provides essential connectivity for residents in the northern estates, facilitating daily commutes to educational institutions, workplaces, and recreational facilities across Singapore.
