After two decades of operations, the mall underwent an extensive 0 million revamp in 2015, shuttering completely in August before reopening in March 2016 with a transformed exterior facade, expanded retail space, and improved integration with the office tower. Today, 167 shops populate the refreshed interiors, spanning everyday retail, dining, and entertainment options that serve both the historic Tiong Bahru neighbourhood and the broader Bukit Merah estate. Notable anchors include Golden Village cinema, Uniqlo, and Don Don Donki, while Sushiro made history here by launching its first Southeast Asian outlet in August 2019. Operating daily from 10am to 10pm, the mall functions as a reliable community hub for the densely populated central estates. While it may lack the hipster appeal of nearby Tiong Bahru's independent cafes and boutiques, the plaza delivers practical convenience and familiar retail comforts for residents who prefer air-conditioned mall shopping to heritage shophouses.
