Bought the yam puff ($2) to try. It contained ginkgo nuts and sunflower seeds. I didn't like the texture. A tad pricey for a puff.

It tastes good on the first bite, but after eating the whole puff, it sits in your belly and creates discomfort. I wish I could stop eating this; it makes me sick, but it's very tempting.

On behalf of my wife: This is not our first time buying from this shop. Yesterday, we had the worst experience with the seller (we're unsure if she's the owner or an employee). We asked for two pieces of Crispy Tapioca Cake but were given Spring Rolls instead. We informed her that the items were wrong and wanted to exchange them before even leaving the stall, but she refused. Her attitude was very bad. We went to the shop again today and received the same unwillingness. Although, the food is quite delicious.

Bad and rude service.

Credit must be given where it's due. For the first time ever, I can definitely say their chicken curry puff has improved. In this time where costs are rising and food quality generally drops due to difficulty in maintaining taste, this has actually improved! Right spice levels, adequate filling, and a flaky, solid crust make this even better than the competition!

If you're a fan of yam like myself, make sure to get the yam puffs, especially when they're freshly made and warm. At only $1.20 each, they're very affordable for the quality and price point.

The crispiest and sauciest curry puff, it falls apart if you're not careful.

You can't go wrong with their curry puffs – flaky and delicious! But I enjoy the curry chicken with bread even more. This is all I could think about while suffering through a -20° winter in Winnipeg. This bowl of curry is all I dreamed of and longed for, and I can finally enjoy it now that I'm back.

Staff were friendly and always recommended the curry puff, which was very nice. All fresh.
