The food is great, but in terms of service, there's a Chinese auntie I'm generally dissatisfied with. I prefer my eggs to be well-cooked. However, whenever she's the one taking orders, she seems unhappy and serves me eggs that aren't quite well-cooked. There was even an instance where she didn't relay my order to the staff because she claimed they had run out. But she could relay my requests, couldn't she? I don't experience this with other staff, only her. So these days, when I notice she's managing the cashier, I tend to avoid her stall and buy from others instead.

I just wanted a convenient breakfast and decided to get some economical bee hoon this morning. But it turned out to be a total waste of time.
I waited in line for nearly 20 minutes, only to realize that all the staff were prioritizing packing online delivery orders, while walk-in customers were completely ignored. If your main focus is on delivery, then perhaps you shouldn’t bother running a physical storefront.
And this is not the first time this has happened. Sometimes, when asking the cashier how much longer we have to wait, the response is rude and impatient, as if we’re the ones causing trouble just by asking. That kind of attitude is unacceptable.
It’s breakfast time; most people just want to have a quick meal and head to work. We expect to spend 10-15 minutes, not nearly 40 minutes just to eat breakfast.
Very disappointed. I sincerely hope the management rethinks how they handle dine-in customers and improves staff training. Otherwise, it’s hard to imagine anyone wanting to return.

Today, at about 8:30 am, I queued at stall 97 Nasi Lemak. I bought the usual nasi lemak with set F (egg, fried fish, egg, ikan bilis, and peanuts), and added vegetables. However, this time the nasi was badly done with no fragrance of lemongrass at all, and no ikan bilis, only peanuts. Even the egg was not cooked well. The chili brinjal also seemed to have been cooked and left out, appearing not fresh. In fact, this is the worst occasion I have eaten here. It seems the cook was different, and even the servers were different. Is a change of cook and crew the key to quality standards?

Always the longest queue in the hawker centre. The owner is generous with extra sauces; even when you ask for more sambal, they won't hesitate to give it to you. And every Wednesday, there's free food for old folks.

This popular chain might serve average nasi lemak, but their fried bee hoon is surprisingly delicious. Their side dishes, like stir-fried ladies' fingers, eggplants, and fried chicken wings, are also great options to round out your meal. Bonus: they participate in the PayLah! Friday promotion too. Just be prepared to queue.

This stall is located inside a hawker centre, which makes the prices incredibly affordable. At the time of writing, a chicken nasi lemak with an additional kuning fish costs less than $5 – great value for money.
They are generous with the sambal, and a great sambal always makes for a great nasi lemak. While I do wish the rice had a stronger coconut milk flavour, I understand it may be tailored to suit the preferences of Chinese customers, so it is still enjoyable.
The stall is also halal-certified by MUIS, making it accessible to everyone. A solid choice for affordable and tasty nasi lemak!
