There was a lot of processed food, but it was really well done. It didn't feel like you were eating in a restaurant because the public was walking to and fro. The restaurant manager was kind enough to give us free potato chips.

Waited over 30 minutes for food. The food quality and taste were poor. It's very seldom that I'm unable to finish a cup of coffee, but it was that bad. One visit is more than enough for me.

Had family lunch on a Monday afternoon around 1 pm. We were utterly disappointed with the service as we encountered issues with the food quality. We ordered two set lunches of battered fish and one set lunch of truffle bacon carbonara pasta. The pasta had no issues and tasted fine. However, there were problems with the fish where we felt something was wrong with its freshness, texture, and color. The battered fish was soggy and soft, the fish meat appeared undercooked, was pinkish, didn't look fresh, and some parts were translucent. (Please refer to the images attached). The texture of the fish was mushy and it tasted a bit weird compared to usual fish. We informed the manager about this issue. She insisted that the fish (we ordered dory fish) had no issues with its color or texture after we showed it to her. She also repeatedly mentioned that they have been using the same supplier for 8 years and that cooked dory fish is meant to have this taste, texture, color, and appearance. Ultimately, we were utterly disappointed with the service as the problem was not resolved properly, and we had to pay for the meal. I did further research and asked other chefs to confirm if cooked battered dory fish is meant to be this way. Sadly, they agreed that the fish looked uncooked and there might be food quality issues. A cooked battered dory fish should have a crispy and golden brown outer batter, while the fish meat should be opaque/white/light-colored and flaky. We have eaten at many other outlets before, and none of their fish tasted like this. Sadly, this was our first time encountering this! I hope the owner/in charge of Big Fish Small Fish company could provide an explanation and resolution regarding this issue, as it is not a small matter but relates to food quality and safety in the F&B business. Thank you.

The open-air setting can get a bit noisy and warm. Prices are slightly on the higher side. Ordering is done via QR code, but payment still needs to be made at the counter. We had: - Chicken Chop Aglio - Soup of the Day - A&W - Seafood Spicy Aglio Olio (set with soup & drink) Total: S$53.12. Slightly pricey, but satisfying. Portions are generous; the chicken chop was huge, almost too much for one. The salad came with mango sauce, which was very refreshing. The seafood spicy aglio olio had a slight fishy smell but tasted good.

Traveled all the way down to Suntec just to enjoy their buffet promo, but was turned down because the restaurant was too ‘packed’. It’s understandable as they looked rather understaffed. The staff only mentioned that the promo was subject to T&Cs, however, I couldn’t find any of their T&Cs stating that I would be turned away. The food was rather good. The fish and chips were crispy, and what surprised me the most was the salad. It had a very interesting and flavourful mango dressing. But not everything was perfect. The mushroom soup was absolutely horrible, with lumps of flour still in it. The garlic bread served tasted like rubber – I’m astonished at how toast could have a rubber texture. The reason for the 2 stars is that I felt scammed by coming down to Suntec, though the food managed to salvage the experience a little. Still extremely dissatisfied, but not completely lost.

Excellent service: The female manager's attentiveness and efficiency demonstrate a strong work ethic. Her interactions with both customers and staff showcase her professionalism. The variety of self-made sauces are a delightful complement to the food. It's always great to find places with excellent service and delicious food! It was a bit pricey, though, after adding the service charge and GST.

Very nice ambiance, our kids love this place. The portions of food are huge and delicious! The breaded chicken chop could have been seasoned slightly more, as it tasted bland, but overall the food was good. Service is excellent, with very friendly and prompt staff. Thank you for the wonderful dining experience! Will definitely be back!

Great first visit to Big Fish Small Fish @ Century Square! Dropped by for the first time on Good Friday with the kids, and we were pleasantly surprised. The portion sizes were generous—even the regular meals were big enough to satisfy a hungry adult. The kids’ meal was totally worth the price too, offering good value without compromising on taste. The environment was comfortable and spacious, with good seating that made dining with little ones a breeze. Staff were proactive and served our food pretty quickly, which is always a plus when dining with kids. All in all, a great family-friendly spot that we’ll definitely consider visiting again!

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised when we were served complimentary chips. There might be two reasons for this: 1. The mains do take a while to come (around 15-20 minutes during off-peak hours), and 2. When you order the mains, the only free side is the chips. If you're tired of having more chips, you'll want to pay more to change the sides, which might be a tactic by the eatery. We ordered the spicy battered sea bass combo and the non-spicy battered haddock combo. Both fish were lovely and well-prepared. I'd recommend getting the non-spicy version as it's good enough. The sea bass was flaky, while the haddock was firm and drier. The batter is light and thin, but not beer-battered, so don't expect it to be very fragrant. The free-flow sauce bar is a nice touch, but the bottles can be quite greasy on the surface, and you'll need to clean your fingers afterwards. There's also free-flow water (self-service) provided.
