Brisket King Beef Noodle brings the iconic flavours of Hong Kong-style beef noodles to City Square Mall, operating from the Food Republic food court at Kitchener Road. This halal-certified stall opens daily from 10am to 10pm, conveniently located near Farrer Park MRT for easy accessibility. The establishment has carved out a following among those seeking authentic Chinese beef noodle soup that respects halal dietary requirements.
The menu centres on traditional beef noodles that pack robust, beefy flavour into each bowl, delivering the rich and satisfying meal that has made this dish legendary across Hong Kong. Diners enjoy extensive customisation options, choosing between dry or soup preparations, selecting from beef tendon, beef tripe, beef ribs, and meatballs, then pairing their choice with bee hoon, mee kia reminiscent of wanton mee, kway teow, ban mian, or rice. At just four dollars, the affordability matches the filling portions.
The beef tendon stands out as the star ingredient, though its popularity means arriving before noon is advisable to avoid disappointment when it sells out. The broth showcases careful preparation with layers of flavour that develop from slow-simmered bones and aromatics, while the beef components arrive tender from proper cooking techniques.
Customer experiences vary between visits, with the stall showing occasional inconsistency in quality and service. Nevertheless, the fundamental appeal remains strong for Muslim diners seeking Chinese cuisine and budget-conscious students or workers wanting substantial meals. The Food Republic setting provides comfortable seating with air-conditioning, making Brisket King a reliable option for halal beef noodles in the Farrer Park vicinity.

Like one of the users mentioned. I love to eat here, but today's experience with the elder lady just turned me off. She gave an attitude, saying 'not happy with my service, you can go somewhere else.' Yup, after this, I will patronise somewhere else whenever I visit the mall.

Ordered the 3 types of meats with kuay teow for $9. The soup has a unique, savory taste. The portion of ingredients is good. The meat is good, but would be perfect if it were a bit softer. The meatballs are okay, but could be bouncier. The chilli has a vinegar taste. I will try it with egg noodles on my next visit. I was there at 10 am, and the stall was not fully ready to serve. The lady was somewhat impatient when taking my order, which cost one star.

My wife and I both had their 3-meat signature noodles and were surprised by how watery the soup was and how it lacked flavour. We last had it last month and it was awesome as always, but this time it was disappointing. Hope it was just a case of an 'off day'.

I had a bad experience with the lady serving me today. This is one of my favourite stalls, but after today's incident, I will not patronise it again. The lady was rude when taking my order; she clearly didn't listen and gave me the wrong order even after I repeated it a few times. Before paying, I checked, and she still packed my order incorrectly. Instead of apologising, she gave an attitude and made comments implying I was at fault. The fact was, I was the only one in the queue, and I don't see why she was in such a hurry to take my order.

I like their beef soup. However, today's service was very disappointing. I ordered two types of beef soup for takeaway, but the staff served me beef meatballs soup instead. I rephrased my order, and another staff member commented that I was being rude. I didn't respond to her comment as I had received my order and simply left the stall. I don't believe asking for the correct order was rude.

Very interesting braised beef. It's not Hainanese, Taiwanese, Hong Kong, or Thai style. The soup is a bit cloudy and slightly red, almost as if fermented red yeast was added. While not intensely beefy, the soup is tasty and satisfying. It's a pleasure to see the different parts stewing in the big pot. The portion for $7.50 is generous.

Had #4 beef & tendon for $7.50. Reasonable mall prices. Worth it as the portion is substantial and chunky, not your regular thin slices. The soup is really rich and flavourful.

I love beef noodles and have eaten from stalls in Beach Road, Toa Payoh, Amoy Street, etc. This is very good beef noodles. It might seem like an unusual statement, given that it's merely a corner stall in a shopping mall food court. I prefer eating my noodles dry. For me, this stall's key differentiating factor is its gravy and soup. It's not too salty for my taste buds, though some of my friends have found it too salty. The taste is quite unique, very different from what I've eaten before, in a good way. (Perhaps 'herbal-ish' is the right word?) In conclusion, a must-go.
