I tried the sea salt Nutella tart and chocolate ganache tart from Butter Studio. Both were alright, but the texture didn’t hold up well. The tarts became slightly soft and uneven after a short while. The flavours were passable but didn’t quite stand out. I’ll probably consider other places in the future instead.

Usually there are no issues ordering cake here, but this time they forgot to tape the base of the cake, and somehow it managed to flip by itself when it hit a bump.

We usually buy cupcakes from here and they are tasty. I bought a red velvet cakelet for Mother's Day today, but the cake did not taste good. The sponge did not have a red velvet flavour and did not taste fresh.

Bought this tiramisu cake at Bugis Junction for my niece's birthday. It was so bad. It's totally not a tiramisu cake, and the birthday party was disappointed by a lousy cake. It tasted like a sponge cake and was very unpleasant.

I ordered a cupcake platter and was really looking forward to it, but I was a bit disappointed with the final result. The Lego-themed figurines on the cupcakes looked quite messy and didn’t have the clean finish I expected. They also misspelled the name initially, which was frustrating, but to their credit, they did fix it during collection. I appreciate the effort to correct the mistake, but overall, the presentation didn’t quite meet my expectations.

Passed by this store and was attracted by their pretty looking cakes. Upon closer inspection, I noticed they are Halal-certified, making them a great choice for school birthday celebrations as requested by some schools. They offer unicorn and mermaid cakelets in a small size (500g) at $22, which is a sensible option for smaller birthday parties. However, there isn't a bigger size available for the unicorn and mermaid designs. They do offer an interesting platter of unicorn cakelets with 6 cupcakes, providing variety and making sharing easier. Pre-ordering is available online to reserve your cake for later collection. The staff were very nice and helpful with all enquiries!

Whenever I need cakes to brighten my kids' birthday parties, I go to Butter Studio. We enjoyed this cake tremendously! The cake (Nutella flavour) was moist and yet crunchy. The Lego chocolates were also not overly sweet. It was really yummy eating it all together. The birthday boy loved the design and figurines. It was an overall fuss-free process ordering this cake. As someone with a nut allergy, I'm always cautious when it comes to desserts. So imagine my joy when I found out that Butter Studio's ondeh ondeh at Takashimaya is made without nuts—hooray! Not only was it safe for me to enjoy, but it was also absolutely delicious—soft, fragrant, and just the right amount of sweetness. I really appreciate their attention to dietary needs without compromising on taste. Thank you, Butter Studio, for making my day a little sweeter and worry-free!
