Operating in strategic locations including Compass One and the fully halal Cantine by Kopitiam food court in Pasir Ris Mall, this establishment has made Singapore iconic dish accessible to the entire community.
The restaurant name "Cinta," meaning love in Malay, reflects their passionate dedication to perfecting every aspect of Hainanese chicken rice preparation. This commitment extends from sourcing the finest halal-certified chicken to mastering the traditional cooking techniques that create the silky textures and subtle flavors that define authentic Hainanese chicken rice.
Cinta specializes in the traditional three-step process that creates perfect Hainanese chicken rice: gentle poaching of chicken to achieve tender, juicy meat with smooth skin, preparation of fragrant rice cooked in aromatic chicken stock, and crafting the essential accompaniments including ginger-scallion sauce, dark soy sauce, and chili sauce that complete the authentic experience.
The chicken preparation follows time-honored Hainanese traditions, where precise temperature control and timing create the distinctive texture that separates authentic chicken rice from inferior imitations. Each chicken is carefully selected for quality and freshness, ensuring that every plate meets the standards that have made this dish Singapore culinary icon.
The fragrant rice represents another cornerstone of their offering, prepared using traditional methods that infuse each grain with chicken essence and aromatic ingredients. This attention to rice preparation demonstrates their understanding that authentic Hainanese chicken rice requires equal attention to both the protein and starch components.
What sets Cinta apart is their unwavering commitment to halal certification, ensuring that Muslim families can enjoy Singapore national dish with complete confidence in ingredients and preparation methods. This dedication to religious dietary compliance has helped establish them as a trusted destination for authentic flavors without compromise.
Operating within Cantine by Kopitiam at Pasir Ris Mall provides additional assurance for Muslim diners, as this fully halal food court specializes in serving certified halal options across all 12 food stalls. This environment creates a comfortable dining experience where families can enjoy meals together without dietary concerns.

Ordered half a chicken, but the uncle tried to scam me by selling remainders assembled together. When I asked where the wing was, he had no answer. Please be honest when doing business; this is unacceptable.

The female staff was not friendly at all and didn't seem familiar with the menu. I was ordering the beansprout chicken rice set and had to repeat myself several times because the staff didn't understand what I was saying. Only when her colleague told her the food number did she finally understand and place the order for me. The beansprouts were also not fresh at all; they tasted hard and bland, almost like eating grass. Luckily, the chicken was still not bad, but overall, it wasn't worth the price.
