Just okay. The staff has been rude at times. Plus, they decide to close at random times, and there's a waiting time of at least 15 minutes before you get mains like fried chicken and fish. If you're in a hurry, it's best to head to canteen B, which is nearby. That said, the pricing is good and the options aren't bad either.
Prudence
Their staff is extremely slow, almost as if on purpose. It took 20 minutes for just one drink. I buy a drink every Wednesday or Thursday, and this pattern repeats. You can observe the staff yourself...

Paid $7.50. Ordered the grilled chicken, but it was really dry even with the sauce. The fries were okay, and the salad was just a few leaves. I wouldn't recommend getting the grilled chicken. You're better off (cheaper and nicer) ordering Western food from a hawker or coffee shop outside.

Food is fine, and they even provide unlimited tissues (!!!). However, they only accept cash for payment (at least as of pandemic times), which is simply ridiculous! I understand it might be financially beneficial for the store, but who carries cash these days, especially around their work or study place??? Luckily, someone helped me exchange their cash for an e-transfer, so I could eat. Since you simply can't buy food at a cafe without cash, why would I rate it more than 2 stars?

The food is good, but the selection always changes without any notice. On many occasions, I was expecting to grab pasta and made my way down to the cafe, only to find out that it was closed or they weren't serving mains. They do have social media, but it's rarely updated, so what's the point? The prices of mains were also raised by $1 last month.

One of the best freshly served hot fried cheesy fries and such fresh lemonade - best to have on sunny days! Quite expensive but completely worth the quantity and quality of the food!

Get the carbonara ($5.50), which is delicious and filling. Unlike what other reviewers mentioned, I received my food almost instantly, in less than a minute. I'm wondering if it was microwaved.

Passed by and decided to eat there. The cafe has only less than 10 tables, and they were occupied by China tourists. The food prices are okay. The food is not bad for the price.
Kopi King
A good place to go for lunch if you are in Hive, and easy to grab a good iced coffee. While it might not be the absolute best place for coffee, it is cheaper than other places, making it a good spot to enjoy a coffee and other drinks.
