Quite disappointed with the chicken rice here. The chicken was tough and not fresh, and the rice lacked fragrance. Overall, it felt rushed. There are much better options around.

A Solid Halal Chicken Rice Option, But with Room for Improvement
It’s rare to find good halal chicken rice, and Edmond's certainly stands out as one of the better options I’ve tried. However, it does fall short of the high standards set by other Hainanese chicken rice stalls. If you plan to visit, be sure to arrive early to avoid the long queues and the possibility of them running out of chicken.
The set is great value, offering generous portions of vegetables, rice, and chicken. The roasted chicken is juicy and flavorful, the vegetables are well-seasoned, and the soup even comes with two wanton dumplings—a nice touch. Unfortunately, the rice was overcooked, which was disappointing given the quality of the rice brand used. It also lacked the rich flavor typically associated with this dish.
Overall, while there’s room for improvement, Edmond's offers a satisfying meal for those seeking halal chicken rice.

No Ah Tai or WNK level chicken rice of course but definitely cuts above others despite being halal.

Can't say it's worth the wait in line, but if there isn't a queue, it's a good grab, in my opinion.
The price is fairly decent for what it is. I got the drum rice with extra chicken and rice for $7.50.
Ordering was easy and no mistakes were made, unlike at Amoy where ordering is as difficult as changing a diaper.
Recommend: yes
Will eat again: yes (when there isn't a queue of more than 5 people)
