I was in the area and decided to buy a curry puff to try, having seen the reviews, but was quite disappointed. I bought a sardine curry puff (each piece $0.50). It was smaller than the regular size and tasted average, but I couldn’t spot a single piece of sardine. I'm not too sure what the hype is about. Do note that if you're buying the curry puff, you don't have to join the queue for buying nasi lemak. The queue for nasi lemak seems to be longer; perhaps the nasi lemak is better.

You can't go wrong with the Nasi Lemak here, but for some reason, the person packing the sambal seems to have a hard time giving extra sambal when requested. I've been here multiple times, and it's a coin toss. Some days you get enough, and other days when you ask for more, she gives you less, LOL. It's frustrating because they're generous with the rice portion, but the sambal is guarded as if we're trying to steal it and replicate it in a lab.

The food here is undeniably good, especially the nasi lemak, but unfortunately, the service really let the experience down. The lady preparing the food looked visibly unhappy and was unwelcoming when I politely asked for more sambal. Honestly, if serving customers makes you so unhappy, one has to wonder why even do it? A friendly attitude goes a long way, especially in F&B.
I also saw an elderly Chinese auntie before me who only had a $50 note. The man inside told her, in a rather harsh tone, that he didn’t have change. She had to go look for somewhere else just to break the note; it was uncomfortable to watch.
Definitely won’t be coming back. Adam Road nasi lemak is way better anyway, both food and service.

Don't know why the old man cooking inside is so rude. When an auntie was blocking his way to put his cutleries outside, he just said, "Move lah." I showed him my PayNow, and he just said, "Cannot see you show what." He has always been consistently rude, so next time, just close on Fridays so he can go to mosque. If not for the hardworking and nice auntie, this shop would be gone already.

Wanted to pick up epok epok, but it was sold out. Thus, I ordered a pack of nasi lemak after spotting many others ordering it. The rice was lemak and fragrant, the wings were crispy, and I enjoyed the flavors.

Chanced upon this epok epok curry puff stall while at Eunos hawker centre for dinner. Bought a few to try, and wow, they were crispy and delicious! They were still warm when we brought them home to snack on. The price is reasonable, ranging from 50 cents without egg to 70 cents with egg. Highly recommended.

This stall sells curry puffs, and the egg inside adds flavour and texture. I was pleasantly surprised to find eggs in the curry puff. A staff member from the nearby bakery recommended this stall to me. The uncle who mans the stall outside is friendly. If you're looking for epok epok, check out this stall.

At an amazing $2 (2023), queues form from 7am till noon. The ikan is freshest and crunchy, with sedap chilli sambal and aromatic fragrant rice grains. Served on a banana leaf with cucumber slices, it beats or even rivals $7 versions. Thanks to the auntie and uncle for their hard work and for standing for so long. AAA, SG number one!

The nasi lemak rice is served warm and the sambal chilli is very addictive.
Usually, I go for their epok epok (curry puff), which is sold starting after lunch.
Fellow reviewers, please stop comparing their epok epok with OCK. Here, the epok epok is freshly made on the spot by hand, hence the odd shape. Though small in size, it packs in enough ingredients, including hard-boiled eggs, to easily beat OCK in taste and value.
