Bought the pandan buttercream Swiss roll for my family. It lacked the fragrance of pandan and tasted average. It wasn't overly sweet and was quite soft. The expiry date was the following day.

2.5* We were craving ondeh ondeh cake recently and bought Polar's version. The taste is okay, but below expectation. The main dismay is the pandan essence, which is too much and overwhelming. The aftertaste leaves a bitter note.

In front of the customers, including me, the senior elderly staff told the younger staff in Mandarin, "Do it slowly, no need to rush, even though customers are all waiting. Take your own time." I was totally astonished. What slow service, openly endorsed by their senior staff! Terrible! It felt like they were torturing us, as if we were beggars queuing for alms?!

I went there to redeem my curry puff vouchers yesterday. Honestly, I was not impressed with their customer service. The staff just left the vouchers at the counter without looking at me and walked away. I was the only customer around. I don't think I will ever go there again. TERRIBLE...

Had a bad experience with Polar Puffs & Cakes. My daughter's birthday party at school was cancelled due to late delivery of the cake and sugar rolls. I was devastated that day to see my daughter unable to celebrate with her friends at school because the pastries we ordered online from Polar arrived late. This is very bad service from them. I requested via email for the items to be delivered before 3 pm, as the kids only had a 30-minute break time to celebrate. However, the delivery arrived only after 3:30 pm, when the party time was already over. The worst part is that they didn't provide any contact details for the delivery rider or anyone to be contacted about the order. VERY POOR service. I spent almost $100 SGD, but it was all gone to waste as no one could eat the pastries since the party time was over. We just blew out the candles by ourselves, my daughter and I. I will NEVER order from here again. If I ever need to order, I will schedule it for morning delivery to make sure, but this was a very bad experience with them.
