The food tastes okay. I was surprised that they don't serve water and their drinks are too expensive for what they are. It's $5++ for tea, which is just a Dilmah teabag. Other drinks cost $9.90++. There's a dining limit of 90 minutes on weekends, which we weren't aware of when we made our reservation. The staff asked for our table back when our time was up. Perhaps it's okay for a quick meal, but not ideal for a friends' gathering.

Wow, a hidden gem! I found this place through a recommendation on Lemon8. The pasta is al dente! The taste is satisfactory, but don't expect Italian standards. I enjoyed the creamy pasta and lava cake! The food can take a bit long to arrive, but I'm guessing they make it on the spot. I also wish they had more drink options. I'll still come again and bring more friends! We also got a bit lost looking for the restaurant. You need to head up the big staircase and turn right!

The menu? Dangerous. Too many things I wanted to try, and I only came with one stomach. The food arrived looking like it had just stepped out of a food magazine photoshoot—minus the pretentious lighting. Flavour-wise? Let’s just say my taste buds filed a thank-you note immediately.
Highlights: portions are generous (finally, a restaurant that understands I don’t come for tapas-sized heartbreaks), flavours are on point, and the prices don’t make you cry. Bonus points for the staff—friendly, quick, and the type that knows when to appear and when to give you space to contemplate your life choices after your third plate.
Atmosphere? Chill, modern, and not so noisy that you need to lip-read your friends. Perfect for dates, gatherings, or just sitting alone pretending you’re doing something important while actually demolishing chicken chop.
Verdict: Good Bites lives up to the name. I went in hungry, left happy, and I’m already plotting my return.
