The standard of the white chicken has dropped pretty badly. The service is good, but the chicken is not well cooked; there's blood inside with a taste that makes me want to puke. I couldn't finish the whole plate, except for the soup and the top skin layer. It was nicer when I last visited in 2023; you could taste the skin's fragrance compared to my two visits this year, March 2025. I'm sure they can improve, as I'll be visiting next time to taste again.

Not the best curry chicken noodles out there. The curry was not lemak, fragrant, or flavourful enough. However, the staff at the stall were courteous and friendly, and the portion of chicken given was reasonable.

Served cold, and despite adding extra chicken, the serving size was still very small. The server was unfriendly, and the tray was soaking wet. There are better options in Lau Pa Sat, honestly.

Had lunch here today and ordered a plate of white chicken rice with a braised egg. For a hawker meal, expectations should be reasonable given the tight margins, and this stall delivers a very decent plate. The rice is fragrant and the chicken is tender enough; nothing fancy, but satisfying. The soup is forgettable, but honestly not a deal breaker. Overall, it's a simple, no-frills meal that does the job if you're craving chicken rice—nothing to rave about, but solid value.

Came all the way from KL to try some food from my neighbour country, and also because I had a very fond memory of eating Singapore Chicken Rice way back in Labuan from a restaurant with the same name, "Singapore Chicken Rice", 12 years ago. I wanted to relive such beautiful memories, but sadly, this deeply disappointed. The rice was too oily and a bit soggy, and the chicken portion was meh. The garlic paste was a tad too salty; it gave you a discomfort in your brain, like, "Ugh, why so salty?" And why no soup? So dry like this? Maybe that's the way it is in Singapore, so yeah, but all in all, super underwhelming. Not much value for the SGD6.8 that I paid. *cries in MYR22.39* But kudos to the friendly man on the counter who served me with such a warm smile, despite me looking so dishevelled and tired. My sis ordered curry mee, and it was okay. The taste was achieved and seasoned well, and whew, what a huge portion; it could well feed 2 people honestly. But the gravy was kinda watery; it would be nice if it were a bit thicker.

This was actually not bad! I like that they have sets available with vegetables. The price is okay for Lau Pa Sat. The portion was huge! The rice texture could have been fluffier, but it was flavorful. The chicken is okay, and the vegetables are not bad, with a huge portion. Would revisit!

The curry chicken noodles were generous in portion for the price ($6.50). The chicken was succulent, the taupok were soft, and the noodles were well cooked. The curry was fragrant but rather diluted. Friendly staff. A good choice if you are in Lau Pa Sat.

This was our first meal in Singapore, and it was simple and delicious. We had the roasted chicken rice. I could eat a bowl of that rice on its own; it was fragrant and well-cooked. The chicken was off the bone and still moist. We had no complaints. I've seen mixed reviews online. We arrived early, around 4:30 pm, so there were hardly any people there. The service was efficient, and we really enjoyed it. I'm sure there are possibly better servings in Singapore; this was basic, but don't overlook it.

Best comfort food I had during my Singapore visit! We tried all their signature dishes like the Hainanese chicken rice set, curry chicken noodles, and Ipoh hor fun with chicken and prawn noodles. The broth was so delicious, and the rice was also flavourful. All dishes were tummy-filling. You should not miss this place at any cost!
