Kakak Kentang operates at FOMO, the hip food court located at 38 Sultan Gate in the heart of Kampong Glam. This innovative stall, part of the Dapur Ummi Abdullah Dining Group headed by Chef Ummi, has created a unique concept that takes the beloved bergedil to extraordinary proportions.

The establishment specialises in jumbo fried mashed potato balls, offering an upsized version of the traditional bergedil that will delight fans of this classic side dish. Each giant potato ball comes stuffed with either minced beef or chicken, creating a substantial meal that satisfies those who always find themselves ordering multiple bergedils with their Nasi Padang.

Kakak Kentang offers two main variations. The Bombistik features minced beef served in a tangy tomato bistik gravy, whilst the Chikabom contains minced chicken accompanied by chicken soup soto gravy. Both options are available in regular size at $6.90 or large size at $9.90, making them accessible for different appetites and budgets.
