Their halal certification ensures that their premium handmade products remain accessible to Singapore's diverse religious communities while maintaining the authentic flavors and textures that define quality Taiwanese bakery culture, making them a bridge between traditional Asian baking heritage and modern multicultural dietary requirements.

The carefully curated menu at Kazo showcases their expertise in Taiwanese specialty items, featuring their signature Crispy Cream Puffs that demonstrate their mastery of delicate pastry techniques, iconic Polo Buns that represent classic Taiwanese bakery culture, and innovative Baked Cheese Tarts that blend traditional tart-making with contemporary flavor profiles. Their product range extends to sophisticated offerings including their Signature Cake Series that elevates celebration desserts, Kazu Kazu specialty items that showcase their unique brand identity, Crispy Durian Puff for adventurous local palates, Premium Fruit Cheese Tarts featuring seasonal ingredients, and elegant Dacquoise that demonstrates their technical pastry skills. I bought a birthday cake here, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete disaster. The cake melted as soon as we cut into it, spilling all over the table, even though it had been in the fridge for over an hour. It was also excessively sweet, almost like eating pure sugar.

The aesthetically pleasing tarts, especially the taro one on display, immediately caught my eye. I purchased both the Taro Tart and the Cheese Tart for $4 each. I ate the taro tart straight away and was honestly disappointed by the stale-tasting taro cream. Having enjoyed a super yummy orh nee tart earlier this week, I couldn't help but draw a comparison. The cheese tart, on the other hand, fared much better after toasting. Overall, given a mixed experience, I'm not sure if I will be back.

Located at Basement 1 of Hillion Mall, take the blue Downtown Line and alight at Bukit Panjang station. Exit the station towards Hillion Mall and take the escalator to the mall. Travel along Ya Kun, and you will find Kazo on your left. Kazo has several outlets in Singapore, and with the Jurong East outlet gone, this was my choice in the West. It is quite disappointing when the retail outlet staff is really slow to take orders and process them. Fortunately, their flavor and taste are still acceptable, and the price continues to be acceptable. I hope their service level improves and the waiting time for each order wouldn't take too long.

I always have high standards for Kazo, especially after my first visits to the one at Katong. The ondeh ondeh I bought at Funan was disappointing; it was hard. I would not recommend buying it. The chocolate with alcohol, however, is yummy and worth buying. The chocolate tart is also tasty, though the nuts had turned soft. Everything with chocolate seems to be quite safe. Overall, I was very disappointed.

Disappointing! I bought 2 Hokkaido cream and 1 chocolate cream puff. When I held the Hokkaido cream puff, it felt almost empty. To my surprise, when I weighed them, there was a difference of about 20g! When I bit into it, it was only half filled. Where is the consistency?

Tried this for the first time. $2.20 for one puff, $12 for 6. Not the cheapest, but then such pastries are never cheap, are they? Well, the puff is crispy (more than I expected) and the cream is rich and tasty. Tried both the Hokkaido cream and chocolate, and both are good!

I had the opportunity to patronise this Taiwanese bakery upon their introduction of their halal signage. I seized the chance to savor their cream puffs. These delectable treats boast a delightful creaminess and feather-light texture, creating a truly satisfying mouthful experience for any sweet enthusiast. What sets their Cream Puffs apart is the magical aspect of their filling. Each puff is filled only upon your order, ensuring freshness and flavor. I had the pleasure of trying all their flavors - the presumed original Hokkaido, Chocolate, and the pleasantly surprising Matcha. While my expectations were modest for the Matcha, it pleasantly surprised me with a balanced taste that wasn't overpowering. The Chocolate and Hokkaido were equally delicious. I will try their other delicacies soon. They have plenty of outlets throughout SG. A delectable snack or dessert bakery that offers a plethora of flavorful choices, and the fact that it is halal is a definite plus.

First time trying this restaurant. I just wanted to nibble on something while waiting for my friend for dinner. I decided to get the Hokkaido cream puff. Wow, the puff was crispy and the cream inside was just a bit cool. Not too sweet and very light. Great for dessert too. Will be back... so yummy! ;)
