I've been supporting KNS business ever since the COVID lockdown. Recently, the KNS boss gave a 10% discount to hospital employees, which is unacceptable and unfair to the general public. I'm a regular customer and a loyal patron, yet I still pay the full bill amount. Please mind what you people are doing! If you give a discount, give it to everyone. For example, a single receipt of SGD$20 and above gets a 10% discount, and so on. I'm giving 1 star for unfair service.

Saw a recommendation from a TikTok review about how good the Fried Chicken was. Drove to the outlet at a Community Centre in Woodlands to check it out. Was greeted by a server after I got a seat. I only wanted to try the fried chicken, so I ordered a fried chicken and a cup of ginger tea. However, the server repeated the same question three times: "Only Chicken"? I said yes! I did add a prata with egg after sitting there for 5 minutes, wanting to try this item as well. To cut to the chase, overall the food quality is normal, but I was very disappointed with the quality of the piece of chicken served. Aside from the cost, the quality is not what was shared on social media... The only item that was a bonus was the ginger tea, that's all... FYI, the table opposite me did not finish their chicken as well...

Everytime when my kids (15&11yo) order without any adult (they are alone). They always get the order

Every time my kids (15 and 11 years old) order without an adult present, they always get the orders wrong. Why? Today, my 11-year-old ordered takeaway. The first set was plain rice, ayam goreng, and vegetables. The second set was plain rice, ayam masak merah, and vegetables. She received nasi goreng merah with chicken and nasi goreng with chicken. I know for a fact they understand English and Malay. Please don't just make up orders and give them to the kids.

They upsold me a $5 curry. When I ordered thosai, the person taking my order casually asked, “Mutton okay?” which made it sound like it came as a set. I only realised it when paying, and it was $10.30 for a thosai masala with stingy potato filling, and a $5 small plate of mutton curry and teh tarik. What is this service? KNS means something else too.

The food was great and the service was good. The atmosphere felt a little cramped, and my friend had to move his chair a few times to let other patrons access the fridge for drinks.

Very tasty food. See the photos. The portions were so generous. I was served by the slim Indian lady who had received a lot of feedback. I had no issues with her service. I went there, and she asked for my order. I gave my order and asked if I should pay now or later. She said to pay later and have a seat first. Then the food came, and everything went smoothly. The ambience, personally, I liked. They also have kulfi ice creams and so on

Hits the spot, especially after hours. KNS at Ace The Place is my go-to spot for Indian food—especially late at night. Insider tip: the food somehow tastes so much better after 1am! No idea why—maybe a different cook, but it’s consistently more flavourful and satisfying at night compared to daytime orders. The place is reasonably clean (they close and do daily cleaning around 4/5am) and prices are fair. Service is usually fast despite the constant crowd and Grab pickups. Staff are experienced, efficient, and easy to talk to. If you’re looking for a fuss-free, hearty neighbourhood meal, this is it.

I must say the nasi lemak here is really tasty. The chicken is big and crispy. The rice is super fragrant and you can taste every grain of rice, not the mushy kind. Wow, I'm surprised that there is a really nice prata/lemak stall in this quiet place. Will be back again.

I recently visited KNS Restaurant at *Ace the Place* with my friend, and it was a great experience! We tried their mutabak and teh tarik, both of which were delicious, flavorful, and satisfying. What I loved most was that this place is open 24/7, making it a perfect spot to hang out at any time of the day or night. Whether you're craving a late-night snack or just want a cozy place to chill with friends, KNS is a great choice. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was friendly. Definitely a go-to spot for good food and good vibes!
