Krave

Krave was a popular Malay-Western fusion cafe located at 28 Bali Lane in Singapore's vibrant Arab Street area, near the trendy Haji Lane and Bugis district. This halal establishment gained a following for its innovative blend of Western cuisine with local Malay flavors, creating unique dishes that appealed to both traditionalists and adventurous diners.

The two-storey restaurant offered a pleasant ambiance perfect for gatherings with friends and family, with upstairs seating that could accommodate groups comfortably. What made dining at Krave particularly attractive was the absence of service charge and GST, making their creative menu more accessible to diners.

Among their signature offerings, the Cempedak Creme Brulee became famous as a dessert that beautifully combined local ingredients with French culinary techniques. Other popular menu items included the generously loaded Tom Yum Seafood Pasta, Sweet Potato Fries, Shrimp 'O' Nauts, Kraving Ayam Bakar (grilled chicken), and Chicken Pesto Pizza. Each dish showcased the restaurant's commitment to fusion cuisine.

The success of the original location led to the opening of Krave West near Beauty World, expanding their Malay-Western fusion concept to serve diners in other parts of Singapore. However, according to their Instagram profile, the Bali Lane location has since closed. During its operational years, Krave represented the growing trend of halal fusion dining in Singapore, offering Muslim diners creative Western-style dishes while maintaining their cultural culinary connections.
