I liked the food better before they changed the menu. I'm missing the carbonara with fried egg right now; it was pretty pleasant. The only thing is, I wish they offered an egg yolk sauce with no cream in it. That would be a lot nicer and more traditional Italian spaghetti carbonara, considering they call themselves an Italian casual restaurant. It's such a shame they removed this item from the menu, as that was the dish I would keep coming back for. It was affordable and pretty good considering the price. I hope they bring back the fried egg spaghetti carbonara, otherwise, I feel my chances of coming back here are very low, as I feel that was their best dish.

Really glad we tried this place! The pasta was a fun surprise — my first time having mafalda (the wiggly ribbon-type pasta) in a creamy carbonara style. As expected with carbonara, it did get a bit rich towards the end, but the little bits of beef helped break that up nicely. The sautéed mushrooms were not overly salted either, which is a win. Some places go hard on the salt, especially when mushrooms are involved, but this one let the earthy flavour shine through.
The chicken had strong yakitori vibes — juicy and nicely seasoned. The bacon was crisp but not burnt (yes, there’s a difference!), which I appreciated.
Only letdown for me was the meatballs with sour cream. The balls were dry and the sour cream just felt out of place. Personal preference though!
We ended with the caramel panna cotta — and okay, I hate caramel usually, but this one surprised me. It had a soft, creamy base paired with crunchy biscuit bits on top. Soft and creamy, with that biscuit crunch? Nice.

Overall, I still enjoyed it! The staff were friendly too! They even offered to give me more cheese without me asking.
