Over-hyped by social media posts. Difficult to eat with hands as the rice was hard, probably Basmati rice. Asked for tempeh add-on, but was given only little bits for an extra $1.00.
There really is no fragrance in the rice and no enjoyment other than the crispy chicken batter. Definitely not authentic Singapore Chicken Rice.
The soup doesn't have that Soto flavour, and the chilli was utterly disappointing; it was definitely that instant big bottle chilli.

This place is raved about so much by reviewers and people around me. However, my experience was really very much below par.
Food: 3/5
Rice was nice, soft with a mild fragrance. The chicken, however, was most disappointing. I ordered the thigh part, but as I was watching the man chop the entire thigh (with drumstick), he basically took away the majority of the flesh from the thigh. At that moment, I wasn’t sure if I should have ordered the drumsticks instead. The chicken was crispy but was definitely not flavourful. After finishing the entire plate, I was still left feeling only half full.
Service: 4/5
A straightforward food stall. My expectation is that as long as I don’t get screamed at, it’s a 4/5.
Honestly, I don’t get the hype and of course, will not be back.
