This multi-concept restaurant operates strategically positioned outlets near Singapore Botanic Gardens and in key residential areas including Bedok Reservoir, Clementi, Tampines East, providing both accessibility to tourists and convenience for local residents. The restaurant's extensive menu demonstrates remarkable culinary range, featuring traditional Indian offerings such as Roti Prata, Roti John, Dum Biryani, and Murtaba alongside Western classics including burgers, fish & chips, pasta, steaks, and pizzas. The Thai cuisine section adds Southeast Asian flavors through dishes like Tom Yam Soup, while comfort foods such as Cream of Mushroom soup provide familiar options for diverse palates. A nice, cozy place for a meal. The food is average. I was there during off-peak hours, but the prata was neither crispy nor warm. I did like that they served three types of curry sauce with my order.

No joke, better if the owner got see this. If owner doesn't bother then forget it. Don't even bother

No joke, it would be better if the owner saw this. If the owner doesn't bother, then forget it. Don't even bother coming here. My first time bringing my family here for brunch after a stroll at the Botanic Gardens around 10 AM on a Sunday. Here's a list of why I rated it 1 star: 1. Look at the photo I took. I pointed my finger at the chapati channa and asked what channa is. The server answered 'chickpea', so I said 'okay'. I pointed on the menu and said, 'One of this, please.' 2. I waited for the chapati to be served and asked the same server once, but she said it might still be cooking. 3. I waited for 30 minutes? My pregnant wife still hadn't received hers. The rest of us had nearly finished our portions already. Finally, we asked her again, and she told me to let her see the receipt. She said, 'Oh, you ordered channa, not chapati.' So I asked her to show me the menu, and I said, 'I pointed to you this.' 4. No apology, poker-faced server. I asked to add two chapatis, and she said 'okay'. Look at the receipt: if I were to order chapati with chickpea, how much would it be, and how much did I pay now? She didn't even bother to explain. 5. Okay, so this place isn't an atas place to begin with, but at least it's not one of those kopi tiam prata houses. Look at how much I paid? Nearly $40 (average $10 per pax) in an un-air-conditioned environment. Please check the market rate and service level. 6. Poor customer service. 7. Drinks were okay, especially the halia-o, but that's about it. 8. Nothing impressive; regular prata, mutton murtabak, and their so-called chapati. 9. Who in their right mind would just order chickpea for breakfast brunch? Use your brain, please. I will not come back here again. Neither will my friends or family. Good luck!

Not a very pleasant dining experience here. The service was chaotic at best, and downright unreliable and rude at worst. There was no system for taking orders, and when orders were taken, they seemed to get lost. The food ranged from mediocre to bad. We had basic Egg Pratas and cheese pratas; some were served, while others were not. The Butter Prata was really sad – flat and with no discernible butter taste. The Teh C was anemic with milk. Either they didn't understand what Teh C meant, or they must be tightly rationing it. The seats were extremely tight and cramped, perhaps designed for Indian midgets. With so many Prata establishments to patronize in Singapore, it was definitely a poor choice to visit this one.

Food: I ordered 1 x egg prata and 1 x plain prata. The two pieces of prata came with a combination of three curries (meat, fish, and vegetarian). The pratas were of the doughy, fluffy variety, which was just alright. I enjoyed the meat and fish curries as they were sufficiently spicy. Not so much the vegetarian one. Atmosphere: The environment was clean, brightly lit, and comfortable. It was also not stuffy. Location: Not very accessible. If you drive, the nearest carpark would be the open-air one at NParks.

The egg prata & prata kosong are soft eventhough we requested for extra crispy. The chicken murtabak

The egg prata and prata kosong were soft, even though we requested them extra crispy. The chicken murtabak rated 4/10; it was soft and lackluster. The soup kambing (mutton soup) was so diluted and watery, as if water had been added to it. I'd rate it 1/10 as it lacked any proper soup kambing taste, and the meat wasn't great either. Not a repeat visit, unfortunately.

Nice 24h place that services an array of Indian and Western food. Pricing is reasonable for the portion served. Staff adhere strictly to social distancing rules, so no worries of being too near to other diners.

We've been coming to this place for over 3 years, and it keeps getting better. They had an interior overhaul in 2017 which brightened the place up and improved the seating. They serve standard prata house fare, but I must say, the quality of the food and ingredients are top-notch. The samosa in particular was delicious; I highly recommend it! The biryani sets come with a delicious acar (achaar) which balances the flavour wonderfully, and the portions are large. It's open 24 hours and the prices are very reasonable. Word of warning: because it's right next to the NUS campus & sports facilities, it can get busy with students and sweaty athletes.

Ultimate Malaysian vibes / Missing Malaysia supper mamak vibes cravings spot for anyone! We ordered

Ultimate Malaysian vibes / Missing Malaysia supper mamak cravings spot for anyone! We ordered: Egg Thosai $4 Not bad, was okay. Crispy and thin, a bit gummy/chewy in the internal layers. The chef cooked the eggs spread out across the thosai's yoghurt-like dough. Served with cold and hot dips, from least to barely spicy. Could be spicier, but it was a generous portion. Egg Masala Thosai $5 Not bad!! Better than the egg thosai as it had dahl pocketed inside the egg thosai skin (outer layer). Crispy and soft and chewy with the egg thosai and a bit of spice to it. The masala and thosai go well with the egg. The masala was a thick and creamy texture, curry-like paste. Quickly spread out over the skin, loaded to the core. A bit too salty. I preferred the egg thosai. Egg Prata Tastes like Malaysia's egg prata! Crispy edges, soft center, good egg. Good prata. ☕️ Teh O Kosong No sugar! ✨ Food comes okay. Not too fast, not too slow. Food is served in intervals, so not all dishes come at the same time. Drinks first. Egg Masala Thosai last. ‍ Service is not bad. Quick to attend, friendly staff members. Overall, not bad. And will return for more prata/thosai/cravings.

We have patronised Mr Prata Evans Road for ages. From when we used to sit in chairs outside under trees with dim lights, to when the outside floor was concrete and renovated with tubelights, and now to its current state – a spacious indoor seating area. The food, however, has remained consistent. My absolute favourite is the Mee Goreng Mutton (pictured) with an egg topping, served with a side of Chicken 65 (pictured). If you want to deviate from the traditional egg, cheese, or plain prata, the Chip Chop Prata (Chicken) (pictured) is a very good alternative. There are many other options I haven't tried yet. Their Mutton Murtabak and Italian Prata (with mushroom and cheese) are also good. Sharing a few dishes when visiting in a group makes for a very cosy affair. Their Biryanis are not hot or spicy and are quite acceptable. I've also been there for breakfast, and their Nasi Lemak, made with basmati rice (separate grains), was quite unique. The Dosas and Puri set were good too. They also offer some set meals that are quite reasonably priced and come with a generous amount of food. There are indeed so many options to choose from! Mr Prata is one of the few casual dining places that doesn't serve watery iced Milo. If you're indulging in sugar, it's very satisfying. For children, they serve generously prepared Milo Dinosaurs and Godzillas. My children have grown from primary school to having jobs, and over the years, servers have come and gone. Some may have been there for 10 years now. They are friendly and attentive, and the service turnaround is mostly fast. It does get crowded in the evenings, especially on weekends, when patrons from across the road, along with families and friends, come here to eat. The best thing about Mr Prata Evans Road is that it's open very late at night. If you happen to be hungry late at night, this is a great place for supper.

The location is quite secluded with no parking available nearby. Some of the servers also seemed to have a rather peculiar attitude. However, the ambience is great, and it's conveniently located near the Botanic Gardens. The food was freshly served, and the drink was not too sweet. It offered the best lamb shank with awesome briyani at a reasonable price.
