All the food stalls sell excellent and delicious food, but unfortunately, for years the teh tarik has been way below par. It should emulate the teh tarik of AlSalam across Masjid Kassim - power!

Not exactly state-of-the-art, as this area has been around since the 80s. However, the food is darn tasty and affordable.

An all-Malay hawker centre, situated beside Bedok Stadium, selling an array of traditional Malay cuisine at affordable prices. If you're looking for traditional Kacang Phool, or simple Mee Rebus or Lontong Goreng, this is the place to dine. It opens early but closes by lunchtime. Swing by if you have time for some savoury Malay delights.
Poh Choo Lee
Tauhu Goreng with killer peanut sauce! Served by a stall located in the corner (cannot remember the name, sorry). One of the few coffeeshops with all Malay halal food stalls. Easy parking opposite and behind the block; be careful not to park illegally.

The mee soto is yummy. This was my first time trying it, and I'm in love with it!
