OG Nasi Lemak is an authentic halal nasi lemak restaurant located at Ayer Rajah Community Centre, 150 Pandan Garden number 01-09, that serves traditional Malaysian-style nasi lemak to Singapore diverse community of coconut rice enthusiasts. As a Muslim-owned establishment committed to preserving the authentic flavors of this beloved Southeast Asian dish, OG Nasi Lemak joins the ranks of Singapore celebrated nasi lemak specialists who have earned recognition from food critics and Michelin guides for their dedication to culinary excellence. The restaurant specializes in the classic combination of fragrant coconut rice cooked with pandan leaves, served alongside traditional accompaniments including sambal chili, ikan bilis or anchovies, roasted peanuts, cucumber slices, and hard-boiled eggs, with options for additional proteins such as fried chicken, rendang beef, or fish fillets. Their halal certification ensures that Muslim diners can enjoy this quintessentially Singaporean dish with complete confidence, while their commitment to authentic preparation methods honors the traditional Malay and Peranakan influences that have shaped nasi lemak evolution over generations. The restaurant location within Ayer Rajah Community Centre places it at the heart of a residential area where families gather for meals and community events, making it an integral part of the local social fabric. I bought a wrap. It's so small and there's very little chicken. I paid $5 and was so disappointed! The taste was terrible, I threw it away. The menu looked nice, but almost everything was not available. A waste!

I’ve lived in this neighborhood for years, and this is by far the most delicious food shop I’ve come

I've lived in this neighborhood for years, and this is by far the most delicious food shop I've come across. The nasi lemak is fantastic, and my favorite is the fried chicken version—the seasoning is so good, with crispy skin and juicy meat. Others also rave about the berempah version. All in all, what a hidden gem!
