Ordered the teriyaki salmon don at $5.50. I love that they top the salmon with lots of stir-fried onions and a generous amount of lettuce. It also comes with miso soup. The portion is good too. I gave it 3 stars because it didn’t taste Japanese, even though it was a good meal that I enjoyed.

Oiishii halal Japanese food at hawker centre prices. True to its name, it's definitely Oiishii. If you miss Japanese food from Japan, this is definitely worth a try. CDC vouchers can be used as well.

Cheap and big portions, however it's missing that authentic Japanese taste. But for the price? No complaints! The katsu chicken is thick, the miso soup isn't as salty as other places, and the curry leans more towards a Malay/Indian style but is thicker. The service was fast, with only a 5-10 minute wait. As for the atmosphere, the place is located in a hawker centre, so what can you expect? Either way, I highly recommend it for those looking for a cheap lunch with big portions.
