In case Pastamania did not know, it is illegal for organisations to collect, use, or disclose Singapore National Registration Identification Card (NRIC) numbers, or make copies of the NRIC. Today I was refused service because I wanted to buy a kids meal for my child. God forbid a mother finishes work late and tries to get food for her kid before heading home. Because my child was not with me, I couldn't buy a kids meal. I showed a picture on my phone to prove that I have a child. She probably thought I was her age, so she assumed I was a little young girl like her. When I asked the girl at the counter to show me where that was written, she OF COURSE could not find it anywhere. And because she could not find it anywhere, she had the audacity to ask for my ID! The most absolutely ridiculous request in all the years of me living in Singapore. It is laughable. An ID to buy food!? What next? My phone number and address maybe? My bank account? Not going to Pastamania ever again, and that young girl should either change jobs or know the requirements of working in F&B. Shameful.

Pastamania's food is good, but the shop manageress, Dona, wearing a black dress, said we couldn't bring outside food when we only took one piece of garlic biscuit to dip into our grandson's mushroom soup! See photos. This is a ridiculous policy, or perhaps she misunderstood the policy??

You wonder why it takes so long when the restaurant is half empty. Then you find out it's because they are busy preparing takeout orders that came after yours, so you are essentially waiting for nothing.

It was quiet during the weekday and the outlet was rather empty, so it was peaceful. The food came relatively fast, and the lady at the counter was so patient in taking my orders. She made sure to repeat them as I had three different set meals.

This place is located in the corner of the mall. It has enough seating capacity and isn't too busy, even on weekdays. The food here is different from other places. However, the service is poor compared to other outlets.

Pasta Mania stall is located in Viva Business Park. The food is surprisingly served piping hot from the oven. The garlic bread is crisp and just right, with a well-made mushroom soup. After the Covid restrictions were lifted, both food taste and service have been hit-or-miss. At times, the food can be good, and other times, it's just average. I'm not too sure about the closing time, but I am satisfied with the food. The service could be further improved by offering advice on what is recommended. Despite the cost of food having increased, it would be great to have tie-in rebates. Overall, a wonderful dinner.
