Located on Level Four at 6 Raffles Boulevard, this halal-certified restaurant celebrates global flavors while maintaining strict adherence to Islamic dietary requirements for Muslim diners.

The restaurant's Urban Farm on the hotel terrace cultivates over 60 varieties of herbs, vegetables, and edible flowers, making Peppermint one of the few halal buffet restaurants honoring true farm-to-table principles. This commitment to sustainability and freshness earned them the Highest Tier in the Farm-to-Table Recognition Programme from the Singapore Food Agency in July 2024, recognizing their leadership in sustainable dining practices.

The sumptuous buffet spread showcases Asian and international favorites, from Southern Italian and Mediterranean specialties to the well-loved Tantalising Thai Buffet featuring authentic Thai preparations. The quality and taste of the food aren't as good compared to a year ago when I last visited. It was overly crowded last night due to a huge company event, and there was a long queue to get the food. Also, the replenishment speed was poor. I was disappointed that the durian pengat was not available.

Came here for the buffet and opted for the Thai selection. They do offer more than just Thai options, however. Overall, I found there was a good variety of food, including Japanese, Thai, and Indian dishes, plus salads, cheese, and cold cuts. I loved that the sashimi was fresh, though very thickly cut. The Thai food was on point. Desserts, however, were a bit of a hit and miss; some kuehs lacked flavor. Overall, the food was above average. There's no view internally, but the service was good. It was fortunate they had a bank card promotion, which brought the cost per person down.

While there are different cuisines to try, the spread isn't extensive. Considering the weekday dinner price, I would have expected more. The roasted beef was dry and hard. However, the roasted mutton and ribs were good. The seafood on ice was acceptable, except for the oysters which were quite small. The tempura prawn was fried until quite hard.

Excellent food, excellent service, and excellent ambience. The green surroundings were lovely, and we especially loved the urban farm outside. In between bites, we all, including the kids, sat and admired the view. We'd love to come back regularly.

Craving laksa, I searched Google for a good place and ended up at Peppermint! The buffet spread was quieter and the atmosphere was just right for what I needed. Food-wise, to be honest, it wasn't a huge spread, but it served its purpose for the day, which was the laksa. The chicken rice was on point but repetitive. Sashimi was okay too, but after having four bowls of laksa, I couldn't stomach any more.

Definitely a good place for bonding. Service was a little slow, but I can handle it. For example, clearing of plates needed prompting, likely due to insufficient servers given how spacious the place is. This season features grill and roast, and I'm loving it. The lamb rib was POWERFUL! A little fatty, but the taste was flavourful. And they have this amazing SWEET CHEESE. I was floored by that. Perhaps I haven't tried enough cheese, but this made me understand why a cheese platter can be a dessert, thanks to this particular cheese. For the first time, I ate more cheese than durian pengat, which is usually the most popular dessert.
