My wife and I absolutely love this Prata place at Alexandra Central Mall. We find it better than "the other one" in terms of service and ambience, especially with its EPL theme. Today, we introduced a young friend to this place, and he enjoyed the entire lunch experience. Needless to say, the Prata here is amazing.

The service is super exceptional. Swift, courteous, and classy – look at how they laid out the table for me! Otherwise, the prata wasn't what I was expecting. It still needs a lot of improvement and fine-tuning to be better than the prata master next door. It was a little too doughy for my liking and was unable to retain its temperature despite ordering it fresh. The Kwa curry is good though; it should go well with chapati too. I saw other tables eating thosai, which is probably something to try when one visits. Good ambience, it doesn't feel like a typical prata place.

Ever since I discovered Prata Alley at Alexandra Central, I've been coming here a fair number of times (I work nearby). The Thosai has never disappointed me (especially the ghee thosai, omg). The Briyani was incredible. Prata was crispy as requested. I almost ordered a third piece but was too full. The Mutton curry was good, with tender and flavourful mutton pieces. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the mutton soup because the pieces got stuck in my teeth, but that's not their fault. I just don't have enough teeth so I couldn't chew properly. The best thing is, no matter how busy or quiet it is, the owner/manager is always thoughtful and patient. It's so wholesome to witness the little interactions between him and the children who come with their parents. This is a nice place. Please don't ever change. Pictures taken on different days. What took me so long to find this crispy and chewy prata… just like the ones in Malaysia?! I was roaming near the area and wandered into this hidden gem. I was greeted warmly by the boss himself and was persuaded to try out the prata! Since we already had dinner plans, we came here for a second round just to try out the prata. Might I say, I LOVED IT! I loved how fragrant and chewy the prata was, and the dhal sambal was just such a good pairing. We had the egg prata and coin prata as recommended by the boss. Service was good and food was served fast. I'll be back again to try their other popular dishes!
