The curries and paratas were average. I went to this place because it's an air-conditioned independent shop. It was alright, but lacked any wow factor.

Decent chicken biryani at a promotional price ($6.90). The basmati rice is fluffy and flavorful. There are 3 options of chicken to choose from. Ordered ikan bilis bee hoon. It was heavy-handed on MSG and had no protein or meat. Advised to skip it.

Ordered chicken biryani and there were barely any chicken pieces. Just a singular wing hidden in lots of sauce. There was also a fly inside the restaurant. Not worth the price.

Mutton Nasi Biryani Food wise: Overall, it was a decent biryani. It had some taste of cardamom, but other than that, no other fragrance. It was probably too light for me to taste. The mutton was quite good though – tender and succulent meat, with a good mutton flavor! The taste of the curry was okay; it would be better if it was spicier. ✨ Ambience wise: Good place to eat in. It can get slightly cramped sometimes. Service wise: Was alright. Price wise: $7.50

The coffee was the most disappointing, especially considering the price, which was almost the same as Ya Kun Kaya Toast. It was so sweet that I had to confirm with the cashier if it was indeed coffee because it looked like tea ♀️. Service was fast. Roti cannot be ordered as a single piece, but I don't mind.

Delicious Nasi Briyani that is competitively standard with the street food from Mamak stalls in Malaysia. The air-conditioned place offers a cool ambience. While not the cheapest option, it's pleasant to have an air-conditioned spot to dine.
Kong Kiat
Great prata place for your prata and teh tarik fix. The prata is flaky on the outside and chewy on the inside, and not greasy. The fish curry also deserves an honorable mention. The teh tarik really hits the spot – not overly sweet, fragrant, and with optimal consistency. A choice spot to lepak with friends.
Toro Tan
Had an egg prata and a prata kosong with curry chicken and teh halia. The egg prata is good, but the kosong is great – fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside, just like the roti canai you get in KL. Both go well with the curry chicken. The teh halia has the right amount of ginger, not too strong, so it's to my liking.

The teh tarik is okay, but not quite the taste I prefer. The paprik is good, and the fried rice is also okay. I felt the paprik could have used a bit more chicken, though. The vegetables were fresh. I haven't tried their prata yet. Perhaps I'll try it next time.

I received great service from the female staff, which is one of the reasons I will visit again. I ordered Maggie Goreng with egg and loved how the egg looked (see photo). Yes, the price is a bit expensive, but it's likely due to rental and air-conditioning costs. I enjoyed the curry with the prata, which wasn't too spicy. I will be returning to this place to eat again. Keep up the good service.
