Alright, they redeemed themselves; the flies seem to be gone. The choice of food is better now. Spicy Boiled Fish ($6.50) is awesome. Cumin Chicken is tasty ($5), added egg for 70¢. Chicken Porridge ($3.50) is very nice. Fried Yong Tau Foo ($4.50) was not very nice. Kinda salty, and it's stir-fried, not deep-fried.

Having worked at SBS for over years now, Quad Cafe is a convenient place to eat when there is very little time between experimental work. I love having breakfast here, mainly because the aunty makes good coffee and she is always cheerful with her lovely smile.

All the cafes within NTU get crowded after the start of the school term since August 2022. The only less crowded place you could find is Canteen 1 (which has fewer food stall varieties). The food prices here were considered reasonable during my recent visit, and the taste was also reasonably good!

Fan of the Korean food here but the waiting time during peak hours 12-2pm and 530-730pm is very long

I'm a fan of the Korean food here, but the waiting time during peak hours (12-2pm and 5:30-7:30pm) is very long. Expect at least a 30-minute wait. They take orders in batches of about 5-7 customers before completing them. Bibimbap is the fastest. I recommend their soondubu and samgyetang on a rainy day. For the rest of the stores, try them when the Korean shop has a long queue. Yong tau foo is popular as well. The canteen is quite dirty and has many houseflies. The seats inside are not ventilated at all, so it's hot and smelly. I recommend sitting outside.
