Got the regular D-I-Y (with mushroom and beef bacon), however there was no bacon given and a very small amount of mushroom bits that it's barely there... It's pure carbs for $9 😩. It's cheesy but a little bland. Good service though! Place is tiny, best for takeaway.

Okay la. - Very oily. By the time we reached the bottom, there was a literal pool of oil. - Wish they used more environmentally-friendly packaging since it's all takeaway, or perhaps offer a dine-in option with reusable servings. Got the truffle mushroom and one DIY option.

Chanced upon this tiny hole in the wall while I was in town running errands. The people working behind the counter were really friendly, and they dish out the mac & cheese in cute little takeaway boxes. Unfortunately, the taste was pretty bland, though it looked quite the opposite. There are seats available for dine-in patrons, but due to its small interior, they are limited. A cute spot, but the food left a rather lacklustre impression overall.

Firstly, please note the price has increased. Small is $9, Regular is $11. Got the Sriracha Chicken Penne with Chili Flakes. The tangy sour Sriracha sauce wasn't really my thing. The cheese flavour was one-dimensionally cheesy, not even as good as 7-Eleven's mac and cheese. To be honest, I was thoroughly disappointed, especially since I brought my colleagues to try this place after seeing their decent reviews. I guess you can't judge a book by its cover; it looked nice and cheesy but lacked depth in taste. There were also only about 3 pieces of chicken. Not much meat, just carbs. I would not recommend it and won't come back. However, it feels too harsh for 2 stars. Perhaps 2.5? The place was small and stuffy, with seating for about 7 people. Dabao (takeaway) would be better. Their beef option was also unavailable that day, unfortunately.

Almost a hidden gem with good mac and cheese that could use more macaroni and toppings. I loved their mac and cheese, but at $8, I expected at least a good serving of toppings. Instead, I got three pieces of tiny mussels and dried spinach that looked more like a garnish than an actual topping. I liked the subtleness of the truffle oil, which complemented the piping hot mac and cheese perfectly. The restaurant is small with only a few seats. Service is okay. Will I try this again? Hell yes, as there are no other options around or anywhere else in general. I'd probably order two regular mac and cheese to fill my tummy. One serving will definitely leave you wanting more. Add more toppings and you'll end up having to pay the same price as mac and cheese at a top steakhouse, lol! Oh, I like their packaging that looks like Chinese takeout ;)

I've been craving mac 'n' cheese for weeks, and I finally got to dig in. I've been here a few times before. I love the small, cosy space and the friendly service. Everything else remains the same, except the portion has shrunk. However, I don't blame the aunties because of rising costs. I hope they can remain in business because when I crave mac 'n' cheese… this is where I think of, and I will go. P.S. They are not your most sophisticated mac 'n' cheese place; it feels and tastes homemade. And in my opinion, that is how mac 'n' cheese should be - comfort food.

Dropped by to try their cheese, and it's not bad; it's really rich. The chef is very funny and has many stories to share. He treated me like a long-lost brother, haha. Good for those who like mac and cheese. Their box is pretty solid and well-made, also microwavable. Not bad.

Make-a-Mac small $6.50 Macaroni Ham & Sausage Mozzarella & Cheddar Truffle Oil With Chilli Very creamy, cheesy, and had a pleasant truffle scent upon arrival. It wasn't too spicy, and the truffle flavour was apparent while eating the mac. Would come again if I'm in the area!

All American @ The Big Cheese It’s quite simple: mac and cheese, toppings, and a focus on takeaway. I first discovered this place with a good friend but haven’t been back in a good while. It’s still simple and good, or simply good. The cheese isn't overly heavy but it's still creamy and savoury. I added Doritos chips, but honestly, it made no difference to the dish given the strength of the flavour. Chicken ham, beef bacon, and eggs were the toppings with the All American. Nothing complex or amazing, but always a good time. If you like mac and cheese, it's pretty good! The price isn't overly expensive either. Just note that the space is tiny and it mostly serves takeaway. 8/10
