The Original Botak Jones represents a remarkable chapter in Singapore's culinary history, originally founded in 2003 with the ambitious mission of bringing authentic American comfort food to the average Singaporean at affordable prices. This Muslim-owned establishment emerged during a time when Western food was predominantly expensive and inaccessible, revolutionizing the local dining scene by proving that "damn good, reasonably priced food and courteous but personable service" could coexist. After expanding to over 13 outlets across Singapore and establishing itself as a beloved brand, The Original Botak Jones has returned with renewed focus, now operating from select locations including Depot Lane and Bedok Food City.

The restaurant's menu champions hearty American cuisine with signature items like The Botak Burger ($10.50), featuring a juicy beef patty layered with cheese, crispy bacon, fresh vegetables, and their legendary signature sauce, all nestled between perfectly toasted buns. Additional favorites include the Chilli Dawg ($13.50), generous Fish and Chips portions ($8-15), and the aromatic Rosemary Lamb Chops ($22.50-29), alongside comfort food staples like Chicken Gumbo and affordable lunch sets starting from $6.40. The establishment maintains its founding philosophy of generous portions and exceptional value, with most items designed to satisfy Singapore's hearty appetites without breaking the bank.

Currently in the process of obtaining official MUIS halal certification, The Original Botak Jones remains committed to serving the Muslim community with all dishes prepared according to halal guidelines. The brand's resurrection speaks to the enduring appeal of its original concept and the strong emotional connection Singaporeans formed with this pioneering Western food establishment. As The Original Botak Jones rebuilds its presence, it continues to represent the entrepreneurial spirit that has made Singapore's food scene one of the world's most dynamic, proving that authentic flavors and affordable pricing remain the foundation of sustainable restaurant success.

Ordered these via GrabFood: Cajun chicken with fries Fish and chips Both the chicken and fish and chips had a funny taste. Hope to visit the restaurant to try the food again, as I always like the cajun chicken from Botak Jones.

One of the most random places to have a restaurant! But hey, as long as the food is good! And it was! Ordered their Cajun Chicken and it was an explosive mix of flavours. The portions were perfect, not too little, not too much.

A hidden restaurant in the industrial area serves tasty Western food at reasonable prices, without a service charge. The cashier was polite and attentive, asking questions to ensure my order was correct. The downside was the fries, which were too dry and hard to chew. Please plan ahead if you're coming during lunch, as the restaurant is crowded and the queue is long - I had to wait 25 minutes for my food.

Attentive and friendly staff! The beef steak was tender and juicy. The burger was such a joy! One of the juiciest patties I have eaten, and for the price with 2 sides - absolutely a gem! The mushroom soup is generous with mushroom slices and creamy. Definitely a must-order, and better ones especially for the price. The Cajun fries are a good side. I must highlight that the drinks here are really affordable. Would love to come back again! It is open from 11:30 am - 9 pm daily

Nice warm cosy environment for a restaurant located in a factory building. Wooden walls and tables.

A nice, warm, and cosy environment for a restaurant located in a factory building, with wooden walls and tables. They have a good selection of different grilled chicken, fish, and beef. The black pepper chicken chop, chicken gumbo, and whoopass chilli were fantastic.

[Botak Jones - Kampong Ampat] Short work-week this week, and we popped by Botak Jones for dinner. We selected these items from the menu: - U-Crazy-What Beef Burger $30.5 w Triple Homemade Beef Patty + Cajun Fries + Coleslaw - Blackened (Grilled) Barramundi - $26 + Butter Rice + $3 top up for Double-Baked Cheese Potato - Tortilla Chips w Whoopass Chili & Cheese $14 - Shitake Mushroom Soup $5.5 The burger was HUGE with a triple patty. Each patty was already thick, so it's 3X the volume. A very adventurous portion, bound to satisfy the most hungry. The grilled fish was a lighter protein choice. Matched with a serve of cheese potato and a serve of rice, it would be quite filling. My favourite this evening was the tortilla chips with Whoopass Chili and Mozzarella Cheese. A quite fulfilling starter with minced beef that could be a meal in itself. For the creamy soup, they were generous with the Shitake mushroom slices.
