I have dined at this restaurant three times. As a vegetarian, I appreciated that there was a separate menu for vegetarian dishes.
I also enjoy spicy food and really liked the stir-fried basil tofu. All dishes were served hot. The stir-fried spaghetti was acceptable. The Vietnamese coffee was excellent on only one of my three visits; I couldn't quite figure out what was lacking on the other two occasions.
They provide wet tissue packets on the table and then charge for their use. This is not communicated beforehand, and they only inquire about their usage at the payment counter. I am allergic to such cheap nickel-and-diming tactics. I don't recall if they charged for water as well, but I wouldn't be surprised. Their service is also only as good as their wet tissues, with extremely bored, perfunctory, and unsmiling staff.
I would still recommend this place for the food, provided you are aware of these practices and bring your own tissues.

On our first visit, the kitchen was already closed, but the waitress apologized sincerely and invited us to return. We appreciated her kindness, so we decided to come back again today.
To our surprise, she remembered us and gave us a warm welcome, which made us feel valued as customers. This level of service truly stood out!
Since we had a late lunch, we only ordered the fresh spring rolls and grilled beef wrapped in vine leaves. While both were good, we particularly enjoyed the grilled beef, which had great flavors.
Overall, the experience left a positive impression, and we'll definitely return to try more of their dishes. Looking forward to our next visit!

May 2025, the initial dining experience was satisfactory, with all the food we ordered being good. Tasty but not salty or overwhelming.
The Beef Broth was good, flavourful enough for our liking, and not too salty.
The fried rice was also good and delicious.
The chicken vermicelli was good, although it was served cold, which was not to my liking. It tasted and felt reheated, which I don't mind. It's just that it wasn't warm and soft enough. Taste-wise, overall, it was acceptable and still recommendable.
The serving size was adequate and big enough to be shared. Price-wise, it was reasonable. GST and service charges are included in the final bill.
Ordering is through QR code. Payment is at the counter. Wet tissues incur a fee. I am not sure if they provide serviettes; perhaps not.
Service was kind of lousy, though, and definitely lacked assertiveness. We visited on a less busy day and hour, and the staff seemed to be avoiding our gaze.
Overall, it's still recommendable.

I'd always walked past this shop and decided to try it for the first time on a whim. It turned out to be one of my best dining experiences. The service staff here, especially Lin Ce, is extremely nice and friendly. We had a few short conversations, and she made me feel very welcomed. With a good sense of humour and an outgoing personality, she made an introvert like myself enjoy the conversations. The food here is great too, with generous portions. The bill came up to $38 for two people, and I think that's a steal for a place with a huge storefront right in the middle of the busiest shopping area in Singapore. Atmosphere-wise, this place has nice, calming music. It's simple and not overdone. Paired with the heartwarming bowl of pho, this place had a homely feel.
