The lunch deal is $17, but the chicken in the burger is LITERALLY just one piece of karaage. Pathetic. When we received our food, my friend and I thought the chef had forgotten the chicken until we pulled apart the bun and saw the measly piece. Look at the pic. Management needs to look into this. You have a nice cafe and friendly staff (who, by the way, forgot to mention they were out of fries and would substitute tater tots). My fish and chips were good.

I had high hopes for Working Title Café after hearing great things and loving the vibe previously. The space is beautiful — airy, spacious, and perfect for studying or hanging out. But sadly, the breakfast was a total disappointment.
The sourdough toast was rock hard, almost inedible. The eggs were underwhelming, the smashed avocado felt like an afterthought (uninspired and flavorless), and even the coffee, which I really hoped would redeem the experience, was just 'meh'.
The service was slow, and with that kind of wait, you’d expect something a little more polished on the plate — but nope.
It’s frustrating because the place has so much potential. A great space like this deserves a kitchen that lives up to it.

My overall ratings are based mainly on the food. The place has a cozy and chill vibe, which I liked.
We visited this place on a weekday evening, and it was pleasant to see people just having a nice place to chill for studies or even after work.
The staff were good, but it felt like they could maybe use one more person to help clean up the tables.
Now, to the food, I was searching for some good burgers, and this place came up on my search. So my partner and I decided to give it a try.
We got ourselves the Baconator and also the ribena wings. For drinks, we just had an Earl Grey tea. After some experience, I try not to order too much, so that we won't get disappointed.
We ordered at the counter and got our buzzer. Not long after, we collected our tea, which came in a small cup. We laughed because it was a cute little cup, and most probably, I could drink it all in about 2-3 sips.
Thereafter, the burger and wings were ready. Now I must say I was quite impressed with the size of the burger. However, that was where the good impression ended.
Upon touching the fries, we knew they had been left out for some time because they were slightly cold, and so was the burger. The buns were soft, but the taste of the patty fell flat. There wasn't much flavour in the combination.
The last saving grace was the ribena wings. I was surprised because they were slightly drenched in sauce, so I wasn't expecting that.
The taste was familiar, similar to grilled chicken, and the good thing was that it came out hot.
We spent about $40 in total.
Overall, it was slightly disappointing, but I have also heard that the standards have dropped. Hopefully, it can get back to its glory days and I can give it another try.

Nice seating area, but the food was terrible. I was surprised that the dirty bandung came in such a small cup, and I paid $5.50 for it. The Cheese and Whiskers burger was also a major disappointment. The burger was so dry with little sauce, and the beef patty had weird cartilage fragments in it, which I spat out so many times. To think I paid $16 for this.

We tried a variety of items, but overall, the experience was underwhelming. The Classic Burger was disappointing — the minced beef patty was too crumbly and fell apart easily, making it hard to enjoy. The Magic Mushroom burger was also quite pricey, especially considering the small portion of ingredients.
While the lunch set is reasonably priced and doesn’t include GST or service charge, you do have to clear your own plates. The place wasn’t crowded, yet one of our friends had to wait a long time for her food — despite ordering at the same time as the rest of us. Most of us had nearly finished eating by the time her meal arrived. To be fair, we were a group of 11, so that might have contributed to the delay.
The menu is not user-friendly — there are no pictures, and everything is very manual, including payment, which must be done at the counter. There were no cakes or even a candle available when we asked, which was disappointing.
Overall, the lunch set might be worth it if you’re nearby and looking for something simple, but without it, the food doesn’t offer much value or anything particularly special — especially the burgers.

Loved the industrial vibe and spacious setting – my go-to place for chilling, getting some laptop work done, and enjoying a good read. The burger and nasty shakes menu is a highlight, definitely worth trying! Staff are friendly and give you space, making the whole experience super comfortable ♥️

You go for the chill out, grungy art student vibes. It's huge; by Singapore CBD standards, this place is immense. It looks more like something you'd find in Bangkok, Melbourne, or Saigon, where there's more land to play with.
Pricey food and drinks, but a lot of LaSalle students call this place their daily haunt. Right opposite Sim Lim Square and next to Rochor MRT. It's a hidden jewel right in the heart of the Bugis/Rochor real estate boom town district. Check out the huge influx of Chinese real estate migrants and their 富二代 children, walking around in temperate climate livery.

Great place to chill and study with free WiFi and aircon, as well as affordable student meals! It has a large dine-in area with a mix of seating options. The staff on shift, Nana, was extremely helpful and provided great service. ☺️☺️

Got the Baconator and Kimcheese burger. Both were really good, and the Kimcheese chicken burger surprised me in a good way (I might have actually preferred it to the Baconator, and I usually prefer beef burgers). Also ordered an iced dirty bandung latte (they have decaf beans, which I'm so grateful for!), which was great. My only gripe with this place is that the waiting time for food is usually 15 minutes or more.
