First, apparently they are now called “Daliman’s Corner”.
My first time patronising, and I ordered:
- Soto Ayam (without ketupat / rice cubes) + Begedil (fried potato paste);
- a piece Epok-Epok (curry puff);
- a piece of Mung-Bean paste
Total $5.70
The Soto Ayam soup was tasty, albeit rather a small serving. So was the potato paste. The other two items were edible. The people running the stall were friendly.
Their stall and the one beside them appeared to be popular and had a queue.

First time trying the food here. Ordered gado gado with 5 sticks of ayam satay for $8.50. The dish came with some pieces of ketupat, tauhu, tempeh, half an egg, and some taugeh. The chicken satay was tender and delicious. The peanut sauce was nice and savory. The food was delicious enough to make me want to come back for other dishes.

Lontong Sayur Lodeh (SGD $4) @ Haji Daliman Korner.
This popular stall has been serving well before May 2014, though it has shifted location within the same hawker centre since the refurbishment.
The immediate standouts here are the large, spongy triangle of tofu bean curd, with a grainy sweet and savoury taste, and the bright hue of the creamy spiced coconut milk broth with a robust sweet, savoury, earthy spice flavour.
The base is formed with rectangles of dense, chewy compressed rice cakes with a grainy sweet flavour, and bouncy spherical halves of hard-boiled egg with an eggy sweet flavour.
The soft, tender stewed vegetables (cabbage, carrots, string beans, jicama turnip), along with kerisik / grated toasted coconut flakes, are stacked high, lending a vegetal, earthy, sweet, nutty flavour.
Mee Rebus (SGD $4) @ Haji Daliman Korner.
Established since 1986 and now run by 3rd-generation owner Muhammad Siddiq Bin Shafrudin, this stall is renowned for tasty and nostalgic meals made using their family recipes.
The chewy, soft yellow egg noodles, crisp bean sprouts, springy tofu bean curd cubes, bouncy hard-boiled chicken egg, crisp fried shallots, and crisp green chili, carry a combined grainy, sweet, savoury, vegetal, earthy, eggy, salty spice flavour.
Their gravy is thick, smooth, and gloopy in texture, with the unique addition of roasted peanuts, curry powder, chilli powder, and ikan bilis / anchovies, resulting in a savoury, sweet, salty, spice, nutty flavour.
Roasted fresh daily, their peanut sauce is bold and punchy.
Mee Soto (SGD $4) @ Haji Daliman Korner / Daliman’s Corner.
Their warm chicken soup / broth is thin and clear, robust with turmeric and lemongrass, carrying a meaty, savoury, herbal, sweet, salty spice flavour.
The chewy yellow egg noodles, crisp bean sprouts, crisp coriander, and tender pulled chicken, combine for a grainy, meaty, vegetal, savoury, sweet, herbal, salty flavour.
Added a soft, tender begedil / fried potato patty with a starchy, savoury, earthy, sweet spice flavour.

Today, 9 May 2025, I visited Daliman's Corner to try the mee rebus with satay.
The five sticks of lamb satay that come with my mee rebus are very tasty and delicious. Shiok! 😋
They complement the mee rebus very well. Worth the $8.50.
