Halal Food in AXA Tower

Once standing at 8 Shenton Way in Singapore's Central Business District, AXA Tower served as a prominent office landmark in the Tanjong Pagar area for decades. The building enjoyed three major frontages along Shenton Way, Anson Road, and Maxwell Road, with close proximity to Tanjong Pagar MRT Station making it a highly accessible business address. Throughout its operational years, AXA Tower housed numerous corporate tenants and office spaces, including shared workspace provider JustCo on its upper floors. The tower's location in the heart of the financial district placed it among Singapore's most prestigious business addresses, with the boat quay and Raffles Place areas just minutes away. In a historic move, AXA Tower became the tallest building ever voluntarily demolished in Singapore when it closed to the public in May 2022. All tenants relocated in preparation for the building's demolition, which made way for Skywaters Residences, a new development planned for the same site. The decision to tear down a functional CBD tower reflected Singapore's ongoing urban renewal strategy, where older commercial properties make way for modern mixed-use developments that better serve the city's evolving needs. While AXA Tower no longer stands, its former site at 8 Shenton Way remains a prime piece of Singapore's central business district real estate.
