The result is perhaps the trendiest coffeeshop in Hougang, drawing crowds from across the island.\n\nThe lineup reads like a greatest hits of Singapore hawker scene. DanLao brings scrambled egg rice bowls crafted by former Eggslut chefs. Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang, a Michelin Plate recipient for three consecutive years, serves their acclaimed halal fare. Michelin-recommended Ru Ji Kitchen set up shop here alongside De Sinn Chicken Rice, 888 Mookata, Oppa Kitchen (helmed by Yoogane's ex-head chef), Wen Kang Ji, Chef De Pasta, Flaky Haus, and Yeo Yeo Huat.\n\nOpen from 6.30am to midnight daily, TAM CHIAK Kopitiam sits a stone's throw from Kovan MRT.
