Asia Ghani Jamu Selera Chicken Rice is a Muslim-owned halal establishment that has earned recognition as an iconic food stall in Singapore's western region. With locations at Jurong West Street 91 and Woodlands Drive 50 at 888 Plaza, this mixed food court specializes in halal chicken rice alongside traditional Malay cuisine, serving the growing Muslim community in Singapore's heartland areas.
Their menu centers around the beloved Singaporean staple of chicken rice, prepared according to halal standards, complemented by an array of Malay dishes including nasi sambal goreng and various fried items like epok-epok. The restaurant maintains its neighborhood charm while adapting to modern dining habits through availability on food delivery platforms like Foodpanda, making their authentic halal chicken rice accessible to a broader customer base.
With over two decades of history in the local food scene, Asia Ghani has built a loyal following among residents who appreciate their commitment to halal preparation and authentic flavors. Despite mixed reviews that reflect the challenges of maintaining consistency in a food court setting, the establishment continues to serve as a reliable breakfast and meal destination for Muslim families in the west, embodying the spirit of heartland dining with affordable prices and familiar tastes.

Wanted to buy food from the stall, but the worker there had an attitude and was slow in committing to work. She showed no customer commitment and was rude, even making a remark towards an elderly person on a PMA. In the end, I walked away from ordering as it seems this kind of business should not be supported. I hope the owner knows how to handle and teach the staff about manners and business etiquette. Lastly, be fair towards customers who have been waiting to place orders and don't let other known customers place their orders first and collect later. I believe she saw the people in the queue but seemed to exhibit selective behaviour.

I'm adding another review. Another takeaway. Great disappointment. My nephew asked for no taugeh only, but the server took away the cucumber etc. It's $5.50 for tahu & sauce! The sauce doesn't look like the one advertised on Grab. It's runny, not nutty enough. Looks like it's thickened with corn flour. Certainly an illusion. Belachan smells wafted out from the microwave when heated. Not the usual sauce I grew up with. Never again to be misled. Buyers beware!
I had Nasi Sambal Goreng takeaway. The sambal goreng portion was measly, not justifying the name of the dish. I didn't care so much about the cuttlefish as it was salty. The 'paru' however was tender and apportioned right. Sambal was a little sweet. When I first had this dish about a year ago, it was better. It has seen better days.

I bought one packet of nasi ayam drumstick and $2 worth of neck and butt. The worker, who appeared to be of Indian ethnicity, only gave me two small packets of chilli. I requested one more packet, but he stated he had already provided two, which was according to their policy.
However, since I also purchased side dishes, shouldn't those come with chilli too? He insisted that if I wanted extra, I had to pay 50 cents. I paid, but the chilli given wasn't even worth 50 cents – just a few teaspoons.
I've been patronising this stall for a couple of years and have never encountered such a situation before.
Look at the photo. Is this even worth 50 cents? I don't mind paying for the chilli, but the quantity should be reasonable. The worker's attitude when asking for one small packet is not justifiable.

I have a wonderful branch here; the food is so yummy. The mutton is cooked with very soft meat, and the spice tastes amazing. I also got lucky to come early before a long line formed.
Highly recommend.

One of the best halal chicken rice places in Singapore. I've been patronising it almost once a week since I live nearby. The chicken rice is worth the money; the chicken is really flavourful, and the rice has a fragrant and aromatic taste from the chicken. The staff are friendly too. I would highly recommend!
