All is great except for the large-sized staff member with spectacles who was raising his voice for no reason. I politely asked him as I didn't know, wanting to understand. Even if he didn't know or knew something, he should have replied with a soft tone and good gesture. Customers around looked shocked too. I suspect he might be Malaysian; a large-sized guy wearing specs at the Seah Im outlet. Disappointed with such behaviour from him.

I live far away and only visit this stall once in a blue moon. I ordered the ayam penyet for 6.50 SGD, though my friend encouraged me to get the chicken rice instead. The price seemed expensive, and it appears to have gone up since my last visit before COVID. They've switched to disposable crockery, which is problematic as the plastic fork and spoon are too soft to cut the chicken, forcing me to eat with my hands. The chicken was very oily, but the skin was nicely done and crispy. The meat itself was tasteless, but it became very nice when eaten with the sambal. The sambal was great, with just the right level of spiciness for me, not overwhelmingly so like at some other stalls. Another good point was the ability to add crispy bits from a container to our liking; they paired well with the white rice, which was cooked well with the right texture. There was also a small bowl of salted soup. Overall, it might be something worth trying. The afternoon sun shone strongly into this side of the hawker centre, making it quite hot to eat here.

I really want to support the only Muslim stall, but the food has to be good. I just ordered the penyet for lunch, and the chicken was so hard. The sambal also lacked spiciness...

Affordable and delicious chicken rice! Got the lemon and the sweet and sour sauce, loved both of them! Chicken is tender and crispy, rice is fragrant, and the soup has the right balance of salty. A satisfying meal overall! The utensils are a little difficult to eat with, though.

Cooling, clean, and comfortable seating make this very spacious school tuckshop, now a modern coffee shop, a great spot. It offers Chinese Zi Char, Western variety, and Korean hotpot (formerly from Changi Village), located right next to My First Skool. Ample free parking is also available within the compound.

Wow. Soft and tender on the inside, crispy and fragrant on the outside. I ordered the No. 7 fried rice with chicken. Don't be fooled; you get real chicken portions. It's like ayam penyet with fried rice. What tops it off are the free crisps and tasty chili sauce. Will come again.
