The Malay lady at the cashier, who is quite large, was very rude. Please look into training your staff for proper customer service. This is not a wet market.

I was hesitant to try this store due to the poor reviews, but I was in the area and craving chicken rice. The chicken rice overall wasn't bad, but it was quite mediocre. I saw a review that mentioned a huge portion, but the portion I received was average for both packs, definitely not large. The chicken was soft and tender but lacked much flavor beyond sesame oil and soy sauce. The rice was alright, slightly too mushy as if too much water was added during cooking, not fluffy. It didn't come with cucumber but included a leaf of lettuce. The chili sauce was bright and citrusy, moderately spicy, and not aggressive, which I found nice. They provided a good amount of chili in a small container. Dark soy sauce was not included.

16 Aug, 11:30 am. This Malay auntie was so rude. I asked for a plastic spoon for my kid to use, and she told me we couldn't use plastic spoons if we were dining in. When I asked for an extra bowl for my kid, she questioned why I needed it. Is her hijab too thick for her to think?

I ordered steamed chicken drumstick and char siew rice for takeaway. Upon arriving home, I discovered I was given a wingtip and chicken breast instead. The char siew was heavily laced with red food coloring and lacked any charred flavor. The chicken rice was also too salty. Poor taste and dishonest staff. It was my fault for not checking that I received the correct meat.

One of the best chicken rice. Moist, fluffy, and rich in flavor chicken rice. I will miss this place. Moving out of Sengkang soon. Will visit and buy this once in a while.

Ordered delivery. Portions were generous. The oyster sauce vegetables were not too heavy or salty. The rice was flavourful and not oily. The chilli had the right consistency and was given extra. The chicken was great too.
