Dahlia's Cafe is a Muslim-owned halal establishment operating from two strategic locations at Tanjong Pagar Plaza (#01-03) and Golden Landmark Shopping Complex in Bugis (#02-21/22), specializing in authentic Indonesian and Malay cuisine that serves Singapore's Muslim community with traditional Nasi Padang and fresh fried dishes. Operating Monday through Saturday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, this cafe has earned recognition for serving 'good and authentic' dishes that reflect genuine Southeast Asian flavors and cooking techniques.
Their diverse menu encompasses BBQ, seafood, Singaporean, chicken, Asian, Malay, lamb, beef, and Indonesian cuisines, with signature offerings including Nasi Goreng with Ayam Goreng (fried rice with fried chicken), Nasi Goreng Daging, and their acclaimed Nasi Padang that showcases the rich spice blends and cooking methods characteristic of Indonesian culinary traditions. Each location offers slightly different specialties, with Tanjong Pagar focusing on Nasi Padang while Golden Landmark emphasizes fresh fried dishes, allowing customers to experience varied authentic preparations.
Despite pricing that some consider premium reflecting their commitment to quality ingredients and authentic preparation methods, Dahlia's Cafe has built a loyal following among customers who appreciate genuine Indonesian and Malay flavors prepared according to traditional recipes. Their two-location strategy provides convenient access for both CBD workers at Tanjong Pagar and shoppers in the Bugis area, while their halal certification ensures Muslim families can enjoy authentic Southeast Asian cuisine that honors both cultural heritage and religious dietary requirements in Singapore's diverse food landscape.

The food was always bland and lacked taste. Even when requesting spicy, the dishes remained tasteless. Sometimes it was okay, but most of the time it was consistently bland.

First timer. Warm hospitality from the server and the husband and wife duo.
Ordered the char kway teow with cockles, which had a generous portion and an abundance of juicy, plump, huge cockles. Even the fish cake was thick and fresh. Piping hot and always made fresh to order!
The lontong goreng was generous, spicy, and delicious. The squid, prawns, and fishcake were cooked exceptionally well, with no fishy seafood smell at all.
Will definitely come again and support your humble business! Keep it up, aunty and uncle!
So many people ordered nasi ayam goreng and hor fun when we were there; we will definitely want to try those next!

I’ve been patronising Dahlia Cafe for over 10 years, even back in their Far East Plaza days, and it remains one of my favourite spots in Singapore. Over the years, the food has never disappointed. My personal favourites are the Nasi Goreng Ayam and the Fried Macaroni; they are comforting, flavourful, and always cooked to perfection. Their potato curry puff is a must-try, hands down one of the best you’ll find anywhere.
The menu offers a wide range of dishes at prices that are hard to beat, making it truly a hidden gem in the heart of the ever-growing and popular Kampong Glam/Bugis area. Do note that there’s often a queue during lunch hours, a sign of how beloved this place is, but it’s always worth the wait.
What makes Dahlia Cafe even more special is the people. The same warm and friendly siblings, Maya and Mohd, have been running the place for all these years, and after so long, they feel almost like family. Their hospitality, combined with the consistently delicious food, is what keeps my family and me coming back again and again. A rare find that has stood the test of time in both taste and heart.
