One of my go-to places in Bedok. However, it seems the halal certification is no longer displayed. They've covered the halal logo on the top left of the sign. I really hope they will get their halal certification again so I can patronize their stall again.

We placed our order at 12:40 PM. It's now almost 2:15 PM, and our order of three dishes is still not ready. Apparently, they missed our order, then promised to prioritize it, but half an hour later, it's still not ready. Yes, they are busy, but this is ridiculous. As expected with hawker-style service, no apologies were forthcoming.

Rude old lady, it's time for her to retire. She also gave me the wrong order. Someone needs to get her attention, or perhaps she needs a wake-up call to come back to her senses.

Not even deserving of a single star. An outrageous experience!
My boyfriend asked the counter staff (wearing a green army NS shirt, dark short hair, and black spectacles) if he could order the crispy fried oyster omelette. He wanted to confirm whether it was just fried oysters or if it came with omelette, as it was his first time buying from here. The man responded with, "No fried oyster, only" with an angry expression.
Firstly, we are your customers, and it's natural that we'd want to be sure of what we are purchasing. Secondly, there's no reason for you to be upset and give such an absurd response.
Utterly shocked by how rude they are. Do not patronise. Come and buy at your own risk.

Perhaps we ordered the wrong dish, but the oyster omelette wasn't crispy. It did taste good, especially with the chilli. The black carrot cake was okay, but it was too sweet, too wet, and too soft.

My family always orders their fried kway teow when we stop by. They always leave a dollop of sambal chili on the side, so patrons can enjoy their own level of spiciness. They're not stingy with their prawns either; we always get two medium-sized prawns. Best!

Came to Bedok Food Market on a Saturday evening. This stall had no queue, so I decided to try the white carrot cake.
The carrot cake had a nice texture and was quite soft. I'm not a big fan of chilli (I wish they could add it on the side rather than on top).
It was a decent quantity and tasted good for $5. However, parts of it were overcooked and burnt, as can be seen in the pictures.

We are here for just one dish: the Crispy Orh Luak. We often arrive before their 12pm opening. Today, we reached about 11:45 AM and were #3 in the queue. Unlike the usual Teochew version, the batter is fried thin and crispy. The thumb-sized oysters are fresh, with no funky taste.

Always come to Bedok Corner for the crispy oyster. The oyster is big and generous, and the egg is so crispy. The Fried Kway Teow is also not bad, but it's not the dry kind like Penang Kway Teow.

Stopped at Bedok Food Centre for lunch on my long bicycle tour. I was hungry and one of my favourite dishes is Carrot Cake. I ordered one portion of Fried Carrot Cake and boy was I rewarded. The texture is crunchy but soft on the inside. The char is right and the spice is perfect (you can have it spicier). The portion was huge for $5. This is definitely one of the best Carrot Cakes, along with the one at Bukit Timah, in my opinion.
