The Halia serves modern European-Asian fusion dishes like Chilli Crab Spaghettini and Sous Vide Chicken. Don’t miss the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert.

We had our company dinner at The Halia recently. The atmosphere was superb. We booked a private room and a 4-course meal. We enjoyed the space and scenery. Service was attentive, though there were slight mistakes from the server.
Food taste is 3 out of 5. They serve good bread. The soup was average. The salad was huge, with a choice of 3 mains; most of us chose beef.
The salad taste was acceptable to me, but the volume and sauce were not in proportion – too much salad as the bowl was huge.
Plating should be improved, especially for the salad and fish. The white rice, served with topping, was horrible to me. The fish tasted relatively good, like cod fish.
The beef plating looked fine. The beef had good thickness and was served medium-well, looking good, but the taste and sauce could be better.
Dessert was excellent and a huge portion.
Overall, I would rate it 3 out of 5, which was under my expectation.
Pros: It's a Halal restaurant and a good space, especially for private events.

It's expensive, and the food and its portions are not up to standard. Not to mention, we waited over 5 minutes to get seated while nobody was in front of us. Plus, the air-conditioned seats were limited, and we were the last to get in. However, immediately after I paid, the waitress kept rushing my grandma and mom off our table, while there were others who had finished but occupied their tables for a long time. Disappointed and won't come again.

Lunch with the ladies after our hike at the Botanic Gardens. Food was okay, service 6/10. More of a reasonably priced restaurant, with fusion food.
Fish 8/10: Pretty decent combination of rice and fish, fusion Japanese style.
Foie gras 5/10: Very tiny piece, the jam on the toast was way too sweet.
Chilli crab pasta 2/10: A little too sweet, lacked flavour.
Lamb 10/10: Best among all the dishes we ordered.
Octopus 6/10: Quite liked it.
Brownie 9/10: Very nice, not too sweet.

I enjoyed the view, the atmosphere, and the garden here. The location is good, right next to the botanical gardens. The service was friendly and prompt.
However, the food was quite disappointing and not worth the price. It looked good in the pictures, but the taste was disappointing. We were unable to finish the dish. It's not up to the standards for this pricing.
If you read through the reviews, you'll see that most discussions are about the food quality. I had the same experience.
I will not come back.

A lovely place to dine after walking in the hot Singapore sun! The beef ribs were so good, and the halibut with rice was divine. A special shoutout to Jeremy, our waiter, for his amazing service and humour.

Ambience and atmosphere is great. Definitely recommend dining outdoors instead of indoors. The chill music and little candlelight definitely add to the mood for couples dining privately as well. The only thing to note is that there might be mozzies, but the staff are all very attentive and kind to provide insect repellent and light up coils to keep them away.
Food might take a while to arrive. The food was great, especially the duck breast with the very refreshing tasting grains (even though it’s only 4 pieces).
We ordered the Chili crab spaghettini, focaccia, paper bag halibut, and lychee & thyme drink.
Lovely evening to spend there!
