The pasta was not flavourful enough and was too soft/wet. The sauce seemed bland. The portion was generous, especially as I added extra pasta. However, the picture on the menu and the actual food were quite disappointing. The squid looked so sad on the actual dish, whereas it looked amazing on the menu.

This isn't our first time here; we've been supporting them for years. We're usually happy with the food, but today was a great disappointment. The soup, priced at $5.80 per bowl, was less than half full for all three bowls we ordered. The staff mentioned they would feedback to the boss, but there was no response. The boss is the one who does the grilling. It seems the soup portion served depends on who is scooping it. We typically spend an average of $80 for 5 people. Sadly, this will be our last visit.

First time trying the food here. Ordered from the kiosk and picked up from the counter. Basically, no staff interaction at all. Food rating: 3/5. I ordered the double patties steak, which was very delicious. The sauce went well with the patties. My wife ordered the lamb chop; the meat was tough, even when cutting it with a metal steak knife. The worst was the chicken wing. It seemed the wings had been in the freezer for too long. The marination was tasty, but the meat still had frozen blood. We did not even finish the wings. I like the food. However, being a minute late before 9:30 is terrible for those who came specifically for Happy Cafe's food. The moment I arrived via the free shuttle bus, it was almost 9:30. So, those unfortunate individuals working in Jurong East will be unable to get the food in time due to transport. GrabFood costs a few dollars more for 'pick up,' whereas taking away directly at Happy Cafe doesn't incur extra charges.

Happy cafe, located on level 1 of Gain City. We ate here after shopping and became happy because the food was really good and the price was reasonable! We will come again! It's halal too.

1 Jun 2025 (Sun) 1745H - First time visiting here. Ordered Fish & Chips and Seafood Aglio Olio. The Fish & Chips had a very fresh fish taste - loved it lots! For the Aglio Olio, it had a very strong garlicky taste; so if it suits your tastebuds, it's great! :) Overall, spent $21.80 for two dishes. The food tasted great and the price was ok!

Couldn't find the Google Maps location for this store; it was located on the higher level. Ordered tom yum soup with plain rice ($8.50). It was 3.5/5 spicy, however, it is NOT authentic Thai soup. The color and smell were nice, but it wasn't the real deal. Ingredients included fish cake, mushroom, 2-3 prawns, and lots of cabbage. The sweet and sour chicken was decent; the sweet sauce and chicken were piping hot.

Had a late lunch with my hubby at Gain City, Happy Cafe in Sungei Kadut. Halal certified. I ordered the fish and chips, which came with generous, chunky wedges topped with cheese—very tasty! The fish was fresh, though I would have preferred the batter to be a bit crispier. The spicy chili sauce really added a nice kick. I also had the icy strawberry mint drink, which was super refreshing—perfect for the hot day. The only downside was that the air conditioning could only really be felt when the exit doors were closed. Still, overall, I really enjoyed my meal and the experience. Looking forward to coming back again... and getting my new fan fixed next week! Musollah available @ Gain City ground flr.

Tucked away quietly in a corner of Gain City in Sungei Kadut, this cafe offers quality Western food at affordable prices. It's one of my favourite hangouts on weekends with my kids.
