First time here and I was unsure of where to order. Instead of helping or approaching me, the staff didn't even bother to direct me where to stand to order. I didn't receive my order correctly either. When I went back to ask, the staff was quite argumentative until I showed him my receipt. Food-wise, it was a pathetic serving of only a few pieces (4 pcs) of meat. Might as well eat at the usual Pepper Lunch. It's a good makan place to eat, but please think twice if you want to eat here.

$8.90 for 4 small pieces of beef. The plating of the food is horrendous. The taste is just alright. The beef is soft, but this dish is called pepper beef rice, yet there's no taste of pepper.

Taste-wise, it's on par with Pepper Lunch. Delicious. However, as others have mentioned, the portion is on the stingy side. I received only four small, thin pieces of beef. I always find myself wanting more.

I regularly order the new rice bowl. However, many times when I specifically order the "Thai basil rice," they always say it's finished. Once or twice, I didn't suspect much. But after encountering the same answer repeatedly for 3-4 times, I found it odd. On the same day, when ordering at the counter, they again said "finished." So, I tried ordering through Foodpanda, and I was able to get the dish I wanted. I'm not sure of the reason behind this, but I find it strange.

First time trying this stall. Although a bit expensive for this dish, it was wonderfully tasty and fragrant, so much so that I forgot to take a photo of the actual dish. But the empty grill plate tells the full story.
