I used to enjoy having large servings of coffee/tea at this usually crowded corner cafe. However, on my most recent visit, I was put off by the strong smell of dishwashing detergent. They do offer reasonably priced local set meals, though.

Omg, we spotted a cockroach crawling in the cafe when we were almost finishing our breakfast. The food and service were indeed okay, but spotting the cockroach was a great disappointment and made us feel like throwing out the food.

The food isn't worth the price. Service is way too slow – with three staff for breakfast, the cashier often ignores you and makes you wait while attending to personal matters, instead of prioritizing serving customers as quickly as possible.

The standard of the coffee is not consistent and the service is very bad. I bought a kopi-si less sweet and it was very bitter. When I gave feedback to the Indian lady, she just added more water to it and her attitude was really bad. This is not the first time I have encountered this from the same person. Looking at the past bad reviews of this Indian lady, I doubt the management will take any action.

It's always nice to come here for an easygoing coffee and tart. There are 10 tables inside and 3 outside, and none were full at 3pm on a Sunday. A word of caution: avoid sitting directly below the air conditioning units as water can drip.

Given the abundance of breakfast cafes in Singapore, this is perhaps one of the underrated ones. The tarts are delicious, and the coffee is also delicious. Overall, you guys should try this cafe!

Bought the Christmas bundle (Chocolate log cake & Chicken pie for S$47). The pie came cold along with the cake during pickup. Self-heating instructions were pasted on the box, though it would be good for staff to inform customers when they are placing the order – I totally did not expect it! Luckily, it wasn't a huge issue for me. Overall, the pie and cake tasted good, with decent portions and great value.

I like this cosy place. Their tarts and pastries are consistent, just like when I had them at their other outlets. I chose Set A, a tart and a drink for $4.50. It's an easy option, and the place made our lunch conversation comfortable and pleasant. Will pop by again if I'm in the area.

Nice corner cafe setup. Welcoming atmosphere and the lady cashier was very helpful with our food order suggestions. The drinks are good, but not the pre-packed marble cake, which tasted like a factory product. Could do better on the pastries' quality.
