Could someone please provide feedback to the Japanese store that their quality has worsened? It used to be very delicious, with true Japonica rice etc.
Today it's just normal rice, and the chicken karaage has become katsu. Usually, the meat is flooded with sweet sauce. Today, it's really dry and there seem to be fewer pieces?
I would rather you increase your prices to cover your costs than compromise on quality to save money.
No wonder there's no queue now.

Ordered the hot plate chicken omelette at The Japanese cuisine. The egg was overcooked with a black base stain, and the pork (changed from chicken) was so hard, most probably refried. It is totally out of previous standards, Leow. Hope you look into it. Tq.

The Japanese stall selling furong egg and karaage set is not bad. And while most food court dessert stalls sell very mediocre and artificial pulut hitam, the one at NP is the best I've had so far in food courts. It tastes very authentic, not too artificially starchy, and the coconut is fresh.

Huge variety of delicious food at great prices. Some of the more popular stalls are the Japanese cuisine and Mala Hotpot. The dessert stall is great; you can get most desserts for 80 cents! The food court is very busy during the Polytechnic's term time, so you might want to go before 11:30 am or after 1:30 pm. However, the lunch time crowd is bearable during the term break.

Had many memories here during my years at Ngee Ann. While many stores have come and gone due to COVID, there is still a decent selection of food here. The Ban Mian and Chicken Fuyong are my go-to as they are consistently good. The portions are decently sized, and they can sometimes be quite filling if I requested for a little extra. The drinks stall also provides an excellent variety of fruits and drinks, and there is even a dessert section. I do occasionally purchase an ice-blend or two, as they are quite affordable. It can get crowded during lunch, so finding seats may be an issue. Moreover, with new COVID restrictions, seating capacity might have severely reduced. Nonetheless, an excellent place to get meals when it is not crowded, thanks to its great atmosphere and decently priced (and portioned) dishes.
