The worst Ayam Penyet ever. It wasn't properly hammered and lacked any extras. The chilli was just some sambal. I would never come back.

After the 4-month renovation this year, all the pigeons that used to plague the stalls upstairs can now be found at this coffee shop downstairs. There are bird droppings all over the floor, tables, and chairs. Yuck! This place needs some bird-deterrent netting. The Haig Road putu piring may still be priced at $3.50, but it's now 4 pieces instead of 5!

Food was affordable, tasty, spicy, and varied. The place's ambience was cool. The only downfall is that the seating capacity was not enough due to patrons who have no consideration for others wanting to enjoy their meal with family. This is especially true during Sundays when domestic helpers have their day off and choose the place as a meeting point.

I have no issue with the food choices here, but the chairs are not good for larger individuals. They are too soft, and the moment I sit, I can feel the legs start to spread. Sometimes I have to put an extra chair to make it sturdy. Can the management change the chairs, please?

One of the best Malay snacks around. Their epok epok are damn shiok. Jack fruit fritters also shiok.

Tahu goreng - $4 Teh o limau kosong ais - $1.80 Putu piring - $3.50 I found the tahu goreng decent. The sauce was tasty, but I wish it was a little less sweet. The Haig Road putu piring is really good though. It was super soft and fluffy, with a mound of shredded coconut to go with it. I will come back just for the putu piring.

Tried the putu piring from the Haig Road stall here, which were the best – a must-try. They seemed softer and better than the ones from the Haig Road shop on Onan Road.
