Don’t bother waited 30mins for the food. No apologies nothing. Kitchen was extremely dirty. Can eat

Don't bother, we waited 30 minutes for the food. No apologies, nothing. The kitchen was extremely dirty. You can eat from other stores in the food court; you will get faster service and better food.

Took more then 30 minutes to have food ready. We ordered noodle and cold dessert. Dessert was ready

It took over 30 minutes for our food to be ready. We ordered noodles and a cold dessert. The dessert was ready first, and by the time we finished it, the noodles were still not ready. We had already eaten food from other stalls, and our noodles were still not prepared. Ridiculous.

Food Review: Nanay Kitchen – A Mixed Experience with Room to Grow We recently dined at Nanay Kitche

Food Review: Nanay Kitchen – A Mixed Experience with Room to Grow We recently dined at Nanay Kitchen with high expectations, eager to enjoy some comforting Filipino classics. Our order included the Grilled Pusit, Garlic Rice, Pancit Seafood Guisado, Banana Con Yelo, and Sago Gulaman. The order was taken by a polite gentleman at the counter, which was a pleasant start to the visit. However, the experience took a slightly disappointing turn when the Pancit Seafood Guisado arrived without any seafood. What we received was a plain guisado that unfortunately lacked flavor and was overly oily. The portion size was also quite small for the price point. The Grilled Pusit was underwhelming — the flavor was too mild, and some parts, especially near the head, were undercooked. Similarly, the Sago Gulaman leaned heavily on the sweet side. While we understand this is typical in many Filipino desserts, a little balance would make it more enjoyable for a wider range of customers. On the brighter side, the Garlic Rice was fragrant and flavorful — a simple dish done very well. The Banana Con Yelo was a refreshing treat and definitely one of the highlights of our meal. One major concern was the waiting time, which stretched to 20–25 minutes despite a relatively quiet kitchen. While we appreciate the made-to-order concept, the food wasn’t hot enough to justify the long wait. A standard kitchen SOP would typically deliver food within 15 minutes unless otherwise communicated. We believe Nanay Kitchen has great potential. Filipino cuisine is rich, soulful, and full of flavor — and with a few improvements in consistency, preparation, and service, Nanay Kitchen can truly live up to the glowing reviews we’ve seen from others. We hope this feedback helps the team to grow and deliver an even better experience in the future. There’s a lot of love for Filipino food, and we want to see Nanay Kitchen shine as a proud representative of it.

If you’re craving a dish that delivers crunch, flavor, and comfort in every bite, fresh fried tilapi

If you’re craving a dish that delivers crunch, flavor, and comfort in every bite, fresh fried tilapia is your answer. This humble fish transforms into a showstopper when fried to golden perfection. First Impressions The moment it hits the table, you’re greeted by a tantalizing aroma—lightly seasoned, with hints of garlic, pepper, and citrus. The crust is crisp and golden, promising that satisfying crunch with every forkful. Taste & Texture The exterior? Crackling and savory. The interior? Flaky, moist, and subtly sweet. Tilapia’s mild flavor lets the seasoning shine, while its delicate texture melts in your mouth. It’s the kind of balance that makes you pause mid-bite just to appreciate it. Final Verdict Fresh fried tilapia is awesome—no exaggeration. It’s comfort food with finesse, simple yet satisfying, and always a crowd-pleaser. Whether you’re enjoying it at a seaside shack or making it at home, this dish proves that sometimes, the best things in life are fried.
