NOI Kassim BBQ has established itself as the go-to destination for authentic sambal stingray at Bedok Food Centre, operating from stall 01-27 at 1 Bedok Road. This Muslim-owned halal establishment specialises in barbecued seafood, with their signature Sambal Stingray earning recognition as one of the best in Singapore's competitive hawker scene.

The hands-down bestseller, Barbeque Stingray, is available in three sizes (S$16/S$19/S$23) to accommodate different appetites and group sizes. The preparation follows traditional methods - fresh stingray grilled over charcoal, then generously slathered with house-made sambal that balances spicy heat with subtle sweetness. The result is tender, flaky fish infused with smoky char and the complex flavours of the sambal. Customers consistently praise the execution, noting the spicy and slightly sweet profile that defines excellent sambal stingray.

Beyond stingray, the BBQ Prawn (S$9/S$11/S$16) and BBQ Sotong (S$9/S$11/S$16) receive equal attention from the kitchen, both prepared with the same care and quality that has made the stall popular. For those seeking different preparations, the Cereal Prawn, Chicken, or Sotong (S$16/S$22) offers a crispy, aromatic alternative to the barbecued items. The menu also includes various fried rice options to complement the seafood offerings.

Operating Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm to 9:30pm (closed Monday and Tuesday), NOI Kassim BBQ serves lunch and dinner crowds at Bedok Corner. The stall's consistent quality and authentic flavours make it a neighbourhood favourite for halal barbecued seafood.

2.5/5: Salted Egg Chicken with rice 2.5/5: Cereal Chicken with rice Observing photos from other diners, the salted egg chicken appears to be cooked differently (no chili, no curry leaves). The sauce is also rather watery, making this combination rather lacking in taste. Cereal chicken too. It tastes more like ayam goreng than cereal chicken. It could be cooked without butter, mixing the cereal with the chicken together. I guess if you want to eat here, to be safe, get their seafood/BBQ food (:)

Sincere operators. The sambal stingray and sotong were good, spicy and a little sweet. Paid $10/- for the whole set, which is enough for two. Well done!

The stingray was a solid 10/10, and so were the cereal prawns! Although we ordered a small size, the portion was generous. The salted egg chicken was really tasty as well! All in all, truly scrumptious food, cherry-topped with excellent service. Would surely be visiting often!

Ordered the beef fried rice. The fried rice is on the wetter side, less oily and salty. Although the overall taste is bland, I can feel they are cooking this with a healthier approach.
